Been playin 40k for 16 years and never heard of these guys.... They seems so freaking outstanding. Any ideas on their founding chapter??
There is little info on them even though their 1st mention was in 1989, I'd have said White Scars, but it's not stated.
Ultramarines Sternguard Veteran, Modified Bolter or Storm-Bolter and Power-fist, Mk VIII power armour and a bunch of various chapter honours on the armour.
I like the Iron Warriors ideas of throwing more bolts/shells at an enemy until they die, so ill probably focus on DPS on my character with a heavy bolter. But I want him to look rather spartan, as in bare. I might break out the Chaos bling for special occasions, but I dont intend to look like a prancing ninny with my special snowflake tutu of Slaaneshy destruction.
Okay, cool. I just remembered there was a long period in which I longed for a more zealous and devout Space Marine chapter so I created one on fanon without realizing the Black Templars were just my cup of tea. I was then pleasantly surprised to read further into their lore. Just wanted to make sure this wasn't one of those instances, haha.
Well if Dark Eldar get put in, and then if Hellions are in I will build my guy after The Baron. A nice Hellglaive to shred my victims apart. A Phantasm grenade launcher and maybe a Blast pistol if I was feelin lucky. I would probably paint my own Kabal colors, but I do also like the Kabal of the Dying Sun and Fallen Moon. Ah to hope.
The Carcaradons, or space sharks, are mentioned in one of the Larger lore art books, can't recall what. But from what the wiki says about them they descend from the Raven Guard Chapter. They even have their own unique models in the Forge World center.
An Ultramarines recruit with just a knife. Imagine the rage when you get killed buy a giant smurf almost unarmed.
A Contemptor pattern Techmarine Dreadnought, preferably of the Ultramarines. And yes, Techmarine Dreadnoughts do actually exist. They've been in books longer than Librarian ones have.
