Okay you'll be a Space wolf, I'm also thinking of giving everyone special traits during the mission, would that be okay? Also sorry i haven't been posting anything yet. I've been having too much fun with just cause 2.
I'm down, but as an exorcist Legion already has a special trait in regards to countering daemons and chaos forces. So if you want to give him another trait then by all means
or would you prefer it if i gave people random traits depending on the actions you do during the RP? Like I've said i'm not use to handling an RP before.
I think each of us should already have a chapter special trait that we would take into the mission (I would suggest a class special trait also, but seeing as this is your first time GMing an RP let's just make it simplier until you get more comfortable with it). As the mission progresses, if a player does something extraordinary, then maybe add a new trait that influences his personality and/or enhances his skills. For now I would say keep things simple and give one trait/advantage to each member according to their chapter lore and characteristics and add more as pivotal events (doesn't always have to be planned, maybe a team member just does something very impressive in the middle of a mission) occur.
Okay sounds good to me, here's what i got for Chapter traits: Sirus Jules (Urian) gets the Armageddon Veteran Trait: 30% more damage towards orks Vrakos gets the Sorcerer's Bane Trait: Able to absorb 50% more Psychic damage from Enemies Grigduster gets the Redemptionist Trait: Able to do 20% more damage in melee combat against any Foe WanderingJester gets the Incorruptible Trait: Able to do 30% more damage towards Daemons and Heretics Google gets the Eternal Crusader Trait: Able do Absorb 30% more range/melee damage from enemies Colaspe gets the the Darkest Hour Trait: Able to do 50% more damage towards Tyranids and Chaos Daemons So what do you think? Is this okay with you guys?
Alrighty then lets get back to the Mission! *Your Thunderhawk Approaches the Flagship, your astropaths try to hail the crew but all you get is static. You find that the shields haven't been activated and no fighters have been sighted near the Ship, The Captain has the Pilot carefully land the ThunderHawk in the Hangar, your team is the first to walk out of the hatch, followed by two squads of Imperial Stormtroopers and the captain. You survey the area and it shows obvious signs of a Struggle as there are dead bodies of IG everywhere and most of the Hangar looks torn apart and broken.* Captain: *leans over a dead body and rips off a Dog Tag* Poor sods never stood a chance, who ever did this were no ordinary soldiers and showed no mercy to these men, may the Emperor guide their souls. *Looks back toward the team (minus the Black shield)* Well we got three choices here we can continue to search the Hangar for possible survivors, make our way to the Command Deck and find out what the warp is going on here, or we scavenge whatever equipment we can find here and make planet fall to find the foul Xenos. I'll leave the decision making up to you my lords. I only pray that you'll make the right choice.
