  1. "decimate" means to reduce by 10%, thus i prefer the word "obliterate"

I prefer 'blend', or 'annihilate' myself.
As in, "The traitor's flimsy ceramite plate gave little resistence as mighy Dreadnought Scipius raised his Power Claws and blended him into oblivion"
    or
"T'was only a singular moment, but a bat of an eyelash in the real word as Illithis acquired his target, and unleashed the full fury of a star, the solar throes of wrath, a living corona of death, from the muzzle of his Starcannon, and utterly annihilated the scavenging Ork boy, and the Leman Russ wreckage around him".

You say if using the correct ammunition... speaking strictly within table top.. Which ammunition would make a difference o.o..?

    Hellfire rounds are poisoned..
Kraken Bolts have longer range and slightly more penetration
Vengeance Rounds are meant to go through Power Armour (Kill Chaos Space Marines!)
    Hellfire Rounds Ignore Cover

I mean a Bolter still CAN damage a Dreadnought with all but Hellfire Rounds.. just wondering which ammunition you figured would make a difference^^
