That's a really stupid thing say. Good luck capping a point with entire enemy team alive defending it. It's okay if you don't have amazing stats, you're allowed to think you still useful to the team and all but stating that people who have 2/3 more kills than everybody else are useless is just plain stupid.
It's interesting how these forums have a substantial, I'm not what to call it, reverse-elitism if I was being polite, skrubery advocates since they're not. I mean look at the passive agressive responses to something as basic as personal statistics going on here. Yeah I'd like to know how many enemies I've killed, caps taken, deaths, etc and it doesn't have anything to do with a e-peen or whatever dumbass non-argument that has been spammed. It's simply interesting to look at this stuff. And it's not like we even need KDR to tell when we have a scrub team, it shows regardless. Usually in a swift defeat as, yes, it more often than not does require you to kill the enemy to take their points.
It really isn't. If you're off the point killing people in a place that doesn't matter, you are not helping your team. You're keeping maybe one or two people busy (people who are ALSO being wastes of space by not being anywhere near the point) but you are not assisting your team with the actual objective. If you want to go play team deathmatch, there are plenty of games for it. This is not one of them.
There's numerous factors, but no, Killing is definitely one of them. It's actually a pretty substatial one. I've always been in favor of more stats to reflect this, not supressing pretty much all if them because some people don't care and don't want anyone else to care either.
Yeah sure, I'll just recollect my almost thousand hours of gaming with the zero accessible statistics available and make a guess as to what the numbers are. Do you even.
All you have is mockery, there's no real argument against personal stats. Pretty much every game has them.
