Actually, Fulgrim borders between life and death. He is still alive, but he's locked out of his body After killing Ferrus, Fulgrim became guilty of what he had done. He then wanted to pretty much die, and so allowed to greater daemon of slaneesh which was in the sword he was wielding, to take over his body. Instead of killing Fulgrim, the daemon locked him away and allowed Fulgrim to watch as the daemon took control over his body. Well that's pretty much what I know of after reading the book, Fulgrim. Also if the daemon hadn't greatly influenced Fulgrim and taken over his body, there was no way he would have the will to best two primarchs.
A littler further on the Emperors children torture Fulgrim because they know about the daemon and they want it out, they almost go too far before they realize Fulgrim is in control once more and has been for a while, as if some daemon could hold his body against his will. I know hes still Fulgrim when he teams with Perturabo in Angel Exterminatus which is later on, its where he ascends to daemondom? at least thats what i took from his transformation at the end.
Angron bested two primarch as well and did more than Fulgrim could dream of nearly beat the blood angels primarch as well but since he is currently in the eye of terror guess that would make me the best chaos lord of all times
I havent read Angels Exterminatus yet but in the book Fulgrim it says that the daemon promises to take all his pain away when his guilt floods him directly after slaying his brother. All the daemon needed was for him to say he agreed and then it fully takes control of his body but keeps Fulgrims spirit locked away inside so that Fulgrim could witness all the terrible things the daemon will do. Possibly the daemon just pretends to be the original at takes later. The daemon could still achieve ascension on its own.
I bet Lorgar is the one who called all the primarch into the eye of Terror like Russ and Corax to explain Illumination and save the Emperor and maybe humanity can you the powers of chaos to propel humanity to higher heights and rebirth the Emperor since Lorgar didn't really care about sitting on humanity throne he only hated the ignorance that held humanity shackled or he is writing a new book. Somebody kill Erebus or else you will just get dick over and he is probably trying to dick over abbadon wonder if Gw will ever sindri him
what if.... he called all the primarchs that didn't die or w/e and they are all locked in that tower by Erebus and Kor Phaeron... but its more likely that beer is influencing this dream On a side note i was reading battle of the fang and there was a section where one TS told another that Russ couldnt return to save his chapter as they all should know. could be possible that Magnus killed him in the eye or something but i doubt very much he wouldn't hold that over the wolves gloating.
I vote for Eliphas and Honsou. One had been resurrected many times and is an iconic arch-villain to the Blood Ravens, and the other is a warsmith of such magnitude that he led an army against Ultramar and survived. They're both survivors: one through the Warp; one through his own power. But Honsou is the greater of the two in my opinion; then again, I am biased towards the Iron Warriors.
I am between Honsu and Kharn, both are lunatics, hmmm maybe Kharn is a little bit more of a lunatic, he can slay our guys too, but Honsu in Ultramar made them see the power of chaos with a bodycount even the Behemoth Hive Fleet can't match! So the Oscar gooooes to........ Honsou the only half-breed we respect.
