I'll be the voice of dissent lol .... never really understood why people would rather watch someone else play a game when they could play it themselves instead,

so I dont mind who streams EC gameplay since I wont be watching it, I might however be one of the other players in the background during a stream though lol

Some general things about streamers for me.

• Be entertaining.
• Interact with chat. EC could be great at expanding on this by playing with viewers if open to it.
• Know about the game you're playing.
  • This ties into the point below. Knowing about the game can enable you to help others play the game rather than rage or BM. But know that it's a game and some people just want to play the game they paid/putting in time for their way.
• Understand that it's a game you are playing.
  • Don't rage.
  • Don't BM teammates or the enemy.
  • Complaining can come across as BMing or rage. (BM = badmouthing; talking smack; ex: "This _ person is so bad. That's not how you play _!)
  • Leeway can be given with friends/squaddies. Or if you know about the game you can constructively BM. That makes little sense but an example is DMBrandon playing Smite. He's one of the streamers I frequently watch.
• This one might just be me but streams are more entertaining when the streamer is playing with friends. It increases the fun they have and thus more entertaining.
• No music playlist at all that way if someone doesn't like the music they don't have to listen to it. Everyone can play their own music and balance their own audio. But if music playlist is had then don't feature music that will cut audio from past broadcasts/any Youtube archive of past streams.
• Youtube archive helps (though arguably only important for game playthroughs with continuity such as games with story) since Past Broadcasts on Twitch will reach a limit where they start auto deleting. Not everyone has the same schedule and a streamer is not the center of all streams nor the world.
• Find a balance of the above and anything else not mentioned here for you. It's the hardest thing to understand or even explain about streaming/watching, the only clear thing is it will never satisfy everyone.
• Don't be afraid to learn from other streamers. Can also Host other streamers and they could Host your stream which can lead to forming a group which can then share viewers.

Similar to people watching but not playing sports and the communites that gather around streamers is why.

What I look for in a streamer? Some diverse game play between classes AND races, I'd love to see you throw in some Traitor Astartes along with that Loyal Astartes, and I'm pretty sure EVERYONE wants to see how Eldar will be in EC, since we didn't see any in Space Marine. (Also, I want them to promote Raven Guard.)

that probably explains why I dont get it lol ... I dont watch sports or reality tv (or "free to air" tv)
