The possibility to stomp tons of people in my favourite setting. Not to mention your philosophy regarding this game resonates with my personal views, and just the fact that you are focused on us mere mortals instead of the numbers on the sheet makes we want to invite you all to my Slaaneshi cult (we've got everything... EVERYTHING). Even if this game isn't to my full satisfaction, just your stance and behaviour merit my support. An example to follow is i must be honest.
Well i have about 40 buddies who want Dark Eldar, Tau and Imperial Guard so if you don't want it to end up precisely that, then you best get deving. My case is by far not isolated. Orks and Eldar as generally just as easy to kill as IG as well. You can see how Space Marines didn't actually last that long because it was focussed around just SM and chaos, well here it will be the same thing, you've taken a dump on half the 40k playerbase.
For new people I'd say at this point the only thing to motivate them is more footage and the possibility of a Module launch very soon. For me its that and new information. I'd also like to have a better understanding of what the devs are working on, on a monthly basis
Personally my motivation is the amount of kills promised, in most other games I have had to look for action really hope here the " action" is on the doorstep
History with the product (the IP), made me motivated to get in the forums. But was the BE development team interaction with us, their feedback, and to see how they are committed with the project that makes me come back and keep a close watch on how things are going.
They need all the races in the game. This makes sense from a player retention perspective and an economic perspective.
Hey Mr G, just to carry on the discussion across two threads. All races may well be included at some point, but to launch a game with each and every race would leave some unable to actually achieve anything while in game and I also suspect take away from the business model that bE will use ( future release material etc) to keep interest. Further to this each race, each model if you will needs to be balanced to mirror another faction - this isn't the table top.
Yes, well done captain obvious, i've never played video games before. And that is good to know but other players say that it most likely won't happen as well and their opinion is just as convincing as yours.
