I like the stalker bolter and heavy bolter! One allows me to reach out and touch the minds of my enemy and the other the body.

Well seeing as 'Ordinance' is an option I'd assume you have to include vehicle based weapons? unless you count a IG mortar team as ordinance?
Always had a thing for the super sleek shuriken weapons of the Eldar. Failing that, the Heavy Bolter.
Chainaxes and Stormbolters and Assault cannons. Yum. Also gotta give a nod to the Chaplains coz they are usually total melee Badass McBadasses that inspire from the front with a crozius and them rosary shield dealys
PS- Stormbolters are double barrelled bolters with staggered firing rhythms so each barrel alternates its shot and u get a very high rate of fire, Assault Cannons are rotary barrelled bolters. Essentially miniguns for those who were not sure. Gorechild and Gorefather are pro examples of names for chainaxes
Sure, why not? What comes to my mind is "Oberon", the relic sawed off shotgun of a spacecraft in the book Helsreach. as for another post, I would fit mortars, artillery, and the like under ordnance
The earthshaker cannon mountet on the basilisk is my favorit 40k weapon. I just love big ordnance. But if it would have to be a portable weapon I chose the lasgun or laspistol. I know they are weak in 40k but they are reliable, very easy to maintain and some even got solar powerd power packs so you wont run out of ammo.
