Everyone criticizing the shoota is forgetting that it has double the ammo of a bolter, which means when the SM has to run away to reload, you probably still have 30 shots left, and can rush him and kill him easily at that point. No one, absolutely no one, has perfect accuracy, and having the ability to stay in the fight for twice as long can be a huge advantage if you properly apply it. Also, get clubbas and electrified choppas before you say that ork melee is bad. Or get damage mods.
this I can't tell you how many times I've gotten kill streaks simply by "getting stuck in" with the shoota.
Tha basic shoota has a better dps than a bolter and more bullets in the mag.... and it's practically just as accurate
IMO, the Orks' shoota boy is the best ranged capping class, particulary concerning its synergy with the orks' playstyle. I do far better with a Shoota than DA or Traitor or Marine
They made orcs pretty durable with the extra HP because they aren't going to be a weaker F2P race I suppose. That's cool but in my opinion the models are too small. It doesn't seem right that these little orcs have more HP than the superhuman SM and CSM who are also encased in power armor. If they were bigger it would be justifiable. I understand the devs tried their best but to be completely honest the game still only feels truly balanced to me in CSM vs SM matches and SM apo needs a buff to match the now awesome sorc. Havent peeked at the SM apo tree so maybe the skills are there and just not being used.
