Warhammer Table Top? I heard it's super expensive. Is it something you can do by yourself? How do you start?
Well, the alpha is currently down due to them making some internal testing and will be up again 8th of October and when it comes up again a new wave of keys will be handed out, not beta yet though, they called it "the last round of the technical alpha" they have not talked about beta yet.
DowII Elite mod, checking the new Dota2 patch (yeah for small carry Silencer buff again ), packing a second graphikcard into my PC that I got cheap (btw, I hope EC does support crossfire?), stalking these very forums, Pre ordering Binding of Isaac Rebirth, watching the anime season and now waiting for the new one while moaning the end of nice Animes (HunterxHunter, why you do this to me?) playing Roguesoul2, and CoH2, and also: starring at the box of Eldar minis I bought, waiting to get a motivation boost to paint them in Altansar colors.
I want to get into Dawn of War. I saw that the second one has a ridiculous amount of DLC/expansions though. Is it worth it? If so, should I play the first one or just go straight to number 2? I need to watch Hunter x Hunter. I'm 4 episodes behind, but you said it ended? Huh? And I was planning on buying another graphics card and going to Crossfire as well, games have to support that?
Further amassing a Warhammer based section of my personal library, and playing other random games. But I have restarted a Dark Crusade kick.
It is not the cheapest hobby to get into the rulebooks are going to be the costly part. This is their main site where you can find all of their products as well as find local stores that have their products. www.games-workshop.com This is what you would need to start. The main rulebook 85$ an Army codex(for the army you want to play)50$ One HQ model(your commander) 20-30$ Two troop units around 40$ (some sets are cheaper) per box so around 80$ Around 245$ for all of that at the base cost of buying it all from the company's site some stores that carry it sell them for lower. you will also need the stuff to put the models together and paint them, a hobby knife, good super glue or plastic cement, fine paint brushes, and a set of clippers. Other then that if you wanted to try it you would need one other person or a store that holds games to play it and a table. I hope that helps if you want to know more just ask. If you want to know more about the background the best place to go would be the wiki. http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Warhammer_40k_Wiki
Yeah, not the cheapest thing to do if you wan't to know the Lore, but I like giving life to the little figures. I also read the Horus Heresy books and I recommend you to try it, it's awesomely written by great writer.
