What Faction Will We Destroy First

SM+Eldars should/will wipe out the damned chaos
  2. Incorrect, the deathless horde/greentide shall crush the interlopers under the iron heel of chaos, and chaotic bloodlust.

You're an idiot if you go after the Eldar. As they'll be most likely the smallest faction in the game, they'd make the best allies, not enemies. The enemy that needs to be focused on the most are the Space Marines, given they'll likely have the largest population, overwhelmingly so.

Shit, I think there's something expected to be like a fifteen point difference in popularity between space marines and everyone else based on research by BE that was posted on the forum about a month ago. We'll be drowning in Astartes, not orks.
  4. Eldar and Orks. Eldar first due to their nature and psychic ability as long as their capability for assassination combat and Orks due to their swarms due to the likely free to play players.

I take it you haven't actually payed tactical advantage to how this game is going to play out, have you?

I really hope the war council will realize that actual sound tactics come before brash attacks at the faction you have a hateboner for.
  6. Even if the Eldar are not in big population they can be more organized, they can be more tactical. They have the advantage of being small more than being in a large force.
  7. Dude, I think in a tactical mindset. I understand the pros and cons for having big forces vs small forces. A bigger force, is harder to organize so it will take time for that to happen.

First, those loyalist, filthy and false emperor servants ! Blood for the blood god ! *cit.*

Need also a Predator to " step on " those space marines, so they will taste the flavour of pure chaos tracks !

Nothing is gained from destroying a smaller force, merely wasted resources. An actual strategist would set up the other factions to take the blows from the Space Marines' greater numbers, weakening the loyalists while also likely crippling the other factions for a time, ensuring your faction is made the strongest without wasting any logistical support, or losing a small amount.

Deception is the oldest and greatest weapon of war.
  10. As they are making it, this is a territory based game. Resources are diverted to eliminate a smaller force, but we gain more advantage in the territories. Strategists differ in varying ways. Eliminate the smaller forces to gain control over areas they are likely to take over, takes out the risk of their assaults while their enemies (us, orks and space marines) are all fighting. Fighting bigger forces weakens us as well then they can just come along and deal more damage to a force that is weakening. The greatest advantage of a small force is the fact that most WON'T view them as a threat, which in that time would give them to take some foothold to be defensible when eyes turn on them.

And as much as it goes, there is always unpredictability on the battlefield. They may set us up just as much as we set them up. Who knows what target the Emperors children are going setting their sights on. If they see us as a threat, they will come after us. And if they focus us, that gives other factions the ability to strengthen themselves.
