I mean I just took teh first Veterinarian (cause I was taking all the random stuff around the tree). It's pretty underwhelming consider there's not much options for weapons other than bolters, and melee die pretty quickly no matter the amount of stuff you put in.

I mostly use them for securing a point that NEEDS to be locked down within the next few mins. Basically the make or break point in a match.

Be glad that your space marine though. Eldar vets are pretty shit without our Exarch weapons in-game... Woo I have 165-ish armour and 110 toughness. But yeah, most vets are pretty underwhelming, except maybe tacticals. Those guys are tanky asf, and their bright red halo is actually quite intimidating.

In game I barely use them at all. They make such a tiny amount of difference I just stick with my regular Tactical loadouts. GA Veteran class is able to make a difference though, or so I'm told.

Solely to use the iron gob and eavy armour, so I can tell the other lads I am da boss.

Then after being OHK plasmad, road killed or ffed, I return to being serious...

i stopped using mine when the novelty wore off. right now i'm trying to max out a tac marine and make it the designated melta bomber vet

Usually it seems like to figure out who on the other team is using a Plasma Cannon

put a lascannon on it for the extremely rare time I might actually need to use one. That way it doesn't waste a useful spot.
