  1. An average ork is about the size of a space marine, its hard to tell since the way they stand, plus in space marine those are new boyz that just got ready for fightin, the boyz in this been putting a gud fight for a while now
  2. Grigdusher Grigdusher Arch-Cardinal

    I'm surprised he enjoyed it.

I still think the campaign is total crap, yeah the voice acting is good and it is well written, but you're still playing through 50 missions with a few changes on the same chessboard, 50 freaking missions. And I don't wanna be that guy, but I feel like the odds are rigged in it, it's insane how much more frequently I would miss 75 and 80 percent shots the further I went into it. I miraculously beat the whole campaign but it has now exhausted me completely that I just don't want to play multiplayer anymore, I only did a few maches and that was it.

Ha ha, i also feel the same, althought i ve always loved chess and i thought that i could play it everyday forever,
i kinda think that i had enough for the next few weeks/months...

Bought it on Steam two weeks ago.Loved it.

I don't know why people expected more from the game when the subtitle is obviously saying "Regicide".
    :D
  6. Because chess games are what studios incapable of creative thinking choose to make. It is the gaming equivalent of "Hello World!".

since i started a programming class a month ago and done a "hello world," i'll say that was funny

Whenever the studio is capable or not....I was actually looking forward to Regicide when they announced it.It was a nicely done game with a prolific multiplayer.BFG:Armada,Eternal Crusade,Deathwatch and Vermintide are the games I had/have high expectations of! ^^

Almost every programmed got "baptized" in such a way.I`ve done it in Java two years ago.

    Hello world!
  9. Sad thing is of the programmers on that project I suspect I know them... <_<

They were not happy when I showed up in their stream on Twitch a month back and was asking questions they felt very uncomfortable answering, a lot of them they chose not to answer in fact. Haven't streamed since because of it. They know I know their dirty secrets ...

As for the chess component of that game, it's likely they already had it coded up before they even begun working on the title. As writing a chess game from scratch in C++ is often the very first project many programmers in Australia did back in the day when I was a teenager as their portfolio for getting into an IT course at uni.

My point exactly, I wrote a chess game in Basic in high school. I'm currently writing a 2d tank game in C++
  10. It's such a shame that the campaign is so dull. I expected so much more after this trailer:

And now I just wonder what the hell this cinematic has to do with the game.
