A2 Jalp felt that he hadent really helpee enough back at the bad guy ship, and he hadent even tried his cool new rippergun, but that was okay, he would use it as soon as he got the chance, then he heard of the looting of a downed ship task, he would like to do that, he was good at carrying and finding stuff, "i would like to... Umm help with the, looting of ...that broken ship" that he really wantet
"You are free to come as well," Razauil smiled. "Just be prepared for the bloodshed and the spoils of war!"
Looking to the sneaky git Mulch smirked. "Oiz bet dey will! Stomp enough 'oles in da uver sluggas an dey'lll be showerin us in teef!" Mulch grinned as he the Skitarii presented him with the chip. "Fanks Robo! Diz looks good an worky, doh da gubbinz a bit too snazz lookin but I'll take yer word for it. " Rushing off to his room he went to install the servitor pet with it's newest command chip. Loot jittered, sparking up a bit again from the aspiring Mek boys earlier augments before awakening. 'Loot' as he was so lovingly known to the Ork was waiting for further input, his current orders put him as a basic servant and slave but without limbs that would yet be beyond his capability. "Don't ja worry Loot, we'll git ya some roight propah arms eventually. See if I can't win somin good krumpin in dis 'ere brawl! " Patting the machine-slaves bald head he wandered back out to join the others, waiting impatiently to head off for the arena with the other boyz.
So atm, things are: Task: A25 Players: Deran, Midas, Google, Sunblitz, Cody, Grall (Open) Task: A26 Players: Colapse, Fox, Urian, Shadhunter, (Open) You're welcome to make your way to the planet. Remember, swampy. The info broker there won't know you, and the planet (whilst not as strict against aliens as lore normally is, else it'd cause issues) isn't particularly xenos friendly. The broker will, as I usually do, lay out a couple of options and then you can pick. I'd suggest staying together (speeds things up, makes things easier, allows you to take more than one contract and all get paid for each one), but that's obviously your pick. The pit fights are 1v1. I'll draw the matchups once I'm certain nobody else is joining it. They're not fights to the death, remember, this isn't the Dreadhaven pit. I will pay a small bonus of exp and money per match won, with a bigger prize for the overall winner (both cash and exp). Now, if, as is entirely possible, it comes to a PvP match, I will likely dictate the result through the mathematical formula I developed for such a situation. Meaning that it won't be a decision made off the top of my head and is, thus, entirely impartial and fair. So ''get to the Valkyie'' and get down there OOC: NPC task. Lol. Only A25/26 are open to players, the idea behind the NPC only tasks is to earn the ship some money, but in the background. OOC: Don't forget you still have a prisoner to toy with from mission #1. He doesn't even have a name yet, afaik
OOC alright, thx for the heads up. A26 As he stepped out of the Valkyrie, first thing Razauil felt was moisture. "Damned swamps. Should've known to pick up extra clothes," he muttered to himself as he eyed the surroundings. It was a small city in the middle of nowhere. From this landing pad, he could see the endless miles of swap terrain stretching as far as an eye could see, with capital of Verghast being in the middle of it all. After asking a nearby servitor for directions, the team made its way towards their new adventure. As they passed through the streets, Razauil could feel the eyes upon him. They didn't like xenos, that part was pretty much obvious. A classic Imperial backwater shithole. The Dark Eldar payed them no mind. Humans were vermin that infested this galaxy, and as such, should be exterminated. Eventually, they reached the Broker. "Hello there. We are crew from the "Mortal Vengeance" and we are looking for work. Raiding, pillaging, killing, capturing, you name it. Do you have anything in store for us?"
The broker motioned for his men to lower their guns. ''Let the xenos speak, I just had the floor cleaned and I'd rather avoid bloodshed,'' he said. ''So. Raiding and pillaging is your sort of thing, eh? Then I'm delighted to say you're in the right place. This place is one of opportunity.'' He stood, walking toward the group. ''Perhaps I could make use of some...offworlders. But I have to know I can trust you, first. I have a package that is now over a day late. It was due to be brought to me from a bar, here,'' he said, pointing at a location on the printed map of the city, which was hanging on his wall. ''Go there, ask the barman for Derrick. He stays there when he's in town, so if anyone knows where he is.... See what the fucker is up to instead of bringing me what I asked. If he's lost it, find out where it is. If he's somehow gotten lost, or gone missing, then find him. Bring me back the goods, and I'll make it worth your time.''
A26 Always trust the Dar Eldar right? Razauil smiled. "Only one question - this Derrick guy. Besides the package, do you need him alive and in one piece as well?"
''Quite the eager one, aren't you? No, he failed to bring me the package on time, I don't care if he lives or dies.''
A26 "Fine." The Dark Eldar nodded and went outside of the building. When everyone was out, he smiled as he spoke. "So what do you think? This is a classic setup, if you ask me. If it was so easy to do, one of those hired thugs we saw earlier would have done it. In my experience, these kinds of errands never end without blood. And I am all too happy because of it!" Having memorized the location of the bar, Razauil led his team towards their objective. They passed half of the city on their way to the bar, and Razauil was able to get familiar with the local culture. Swap insects, small and hairy men, ugly women, and almost not a single xeno. He snorted. Mankind and its promise. More like worst slimes in the universe. Eventually, they entered the bar. It was crowded, few residents tried to make an eye contact but Razauil ignored them. "Get ready for combat," he said to his teammates in hushed tone as he approached the bartender. He pulled out 15 credits and placed it in front of the guy. "I'm looking for Derrick. Have you seen him?" OOC sorry if I'm speeding this up too much. Be free to carry on without me, I'm back in 1h.
