Torek had kept silent the entire way to Engineering, trusting in his greater senses to watch for that which the rest of the team might miss. When they took the Engineers, he had stayed by the door and watched the way they had come. He took no time to admire the methods of execution, the Kroot was determined to keep things as quiet as possible. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Raz kick his captive and allowed himself a snort, still watching the empty hallway. "Playing with your food, Eldar? If more of his kind should come, I'll kill him myself so as not to slow us down."
"If you touch my property, I will cut of your head and use it as a cup," Razauil answered. "This thing is going to experience wonders beyond its imagination," as he spoke, he smashed the captive's mouth with his spear, breaking couple of teeth and silencing the man instantly. "Don't worry about him slowing us down. This is not my first slave hunt, and there are ways of making these vermin do as you order."
The Kroot glared at Razauil, as if daring him to act on his threat. "To have the Ogryn carry him? Jalp could, but perhaps he has other things to focus on." Torek's gaze went back to the hallway, trusting his other senses to keep track of the Dark Eldar slaver. "Human, I've feasted on Orks and your fleshier brethren faster than this. Progress?"
& & & Inside a trio of defenders lay, their bodies torn asunder; the grenades had done a number on them. A couple of surviving defenders were writhing in agony, with bits of glass and other shrapnel embedded in to them. More importantly, though, were the four guys hidden in cover behind a control panel, who weren't injured at all. They fired, but the suppression shields of the hired guns denied their low penetration rounds from making the intended impact. The attackers took cover of their own, equally using the sturdy control panels. I'll add credits and a couple of shotguns as what was looted. Who wants the guns? Not adding anything to anyone until the guns are assigned [OOC: Since a firefight looks likely, don't forget ammo is recorded. Guns (for sake of ease) either fire single rounds, or a burst. Their burst value is the number in the S/10 part, so in that case ten. Meaning you can either fire one, or ten rounds. You can fire either a burst, or as many singles as would be equal to the burst, per post (so it's one burst of ten, or up to ten singles). I know it's not how guns really work, but there has to be a way to keep count. Please try to simply say at the end of your post something like [-10 ammo]
OoC: I'd be happy to have a firearm, if I could somehow stow away my sword while.. Keeping it on my person somehow. And only if everyone else doesn't want one. The Kroot will be creative if he needs to!
Mission 2: The Carnage Pit -Taking stock of the carnage unfolding as Harker entered the bridge, he rallied the closest men to his side and joined them in the shield push. Yelling out encouraging benedictions and praises to the hired guns, they slowly began to advance on the enemies on cover as the rest of the team spread out behind them. Walking over the butchered remnants of the first trio of guards, Harker quickly checked to see if any of them resembled the Hatchets Captain but failed to identify him in this batch of corpses (pretty hard to since most of them were in a really bad way). Nearing the decimated terminal bank, Harker and the nearest gunmen quickly burst charged the position with mauls and shields raised swinging left and right in an attempt to knock over the last defenders.- (Skipping over the part where my teammates come in and start shooting as well, blah blah blah) -Standing in the ruined bridge, surrounded by dead and wounded of the Hatchets crew, Harker took stock of the carnage and was pleased everyone came out relatively unarmed. Looking towards the rest of the raiding party.- "We might want to loot what we can from these guys and take anything worth valuable from any terminal that is still operational. Don't think any of you can help identify the Captain in this mess..."-prods one of the corpses with his boot and is rewarded by a slight gurgle as the corpse is actually still alive. Bending down, Harker attempts to converse with the dying man (GM response required)- "Where is your Captain? Was he on this bridge when we attacked it or has he fled the area? Answer and I'll ensure you leave this world quick and painlessly." -Waving for the fire team medic to come to him, Harker asks the medic to attempt to ID the bodies from the vague crew manifest they had before the assault to take stock of who was KIA and who was MIA of the Hatchets crew. Looking up from the now cooling corpse, Harker walked to the command throne and began to activate the blast doors that were still with power from the back ups to block any entrance of the Hatchets crew to the bridge or supply hanger and also to seal in every exit- Alright people, let's move it out and return to the ship. Remember, the Captain will want to take stock of everything we plundered so don't get attached to it quite yet. With that said, grab as much ammunition and crowns as you can off these guys cause that's for us. Anyone wounded, if so, have the doc patch you up when we get back to the safe zone. Mr. Cooper, if you would radio back to the ship and inform the Captain we are on our way back. Minimum damage sustained and the ship is crippled, her Captain is MIA as of now and we are bringing back some loot with us. Also, inform the Captain he should have the navigator standing by, he/she might be interested in the small amount of data we were able to extract from the cogitators. [End Exert] No bullets fired unless my swings count lol. I am going to assume the Captain of the Hatchet wasn't on the bridge so far but he might well have been one of the unidentifiable corpses, will re-edit as the prisoner is interrogated. Edit 1: Make that one hired gun probably with broken bones and now with a major hatred for being in front of Orks. 10/10 hired guns agree they don't like being used as rockets.
Mission Two: Bridge Mulch watched the advancing shield line of 'umies finding the whole ordeal just unpropah, it was different when a Nob wore Mega Armor, at least they were KILLY walls of protective sheets! "GIT DA ZOG OUT O ME WAY 'UMIES!" The Ork roared over the gun fire as he barreled forward, hands free for the moment as he grabbed one of the Hired Guns, right end of their shield wall, and hauled him up before chucking him at one of the living crew men. "DAS 'OW YA DO IT! Make a propah Storm Boy ya would! " Turning towards another man in a corner the Ork put his back, guarded by the riot shield, to the rest and drew his great choppa, moving in for some good ol fashion choppy butchery against some poor cornered sod trying to desperately reload his weapon. After Assault- Mulch had set about stomping, occasionally eating, a pile of dead crew men. Heavy form crashing down over and over on his newest toys till bones were fragmented, flesh torn and most importantly, organs MULCHED. He really wasn't paying attention to anyone else at this point, far too amused by the way eyes popped and bones cracked.
M2 Team Razauil "Oh, I do not know. Maybe they are having fun without us over there?", Resh replied wryly. "But that would mean they would be having fun without us. Maybe we should indeed go over there, yes?" All the while, she admired her kin's work, from every little movement right down to the shattering noise the slave's bones made as he broke his teeth out. "A true artist is you. I should have listened to my mother and joined the witch cults. You have a way with mon-keigh, Razauil the Darkblade." Taking a look at the available loot, she decided that having an autogun was already too demanding; she would not debase her self so low as to use a weapon that rewarded inaccuracy. Selling them, however... [OOC: Not taking any of the shotguns, unless they need to be carried.]
OOC Okey then, I'd like to take 1-Shotgun and 20 bullets, just to be on the safe side M2 --Team Me-- "It is nothing, my most venomous Reshiel. I'm just showing them who is the most superior race in the universe. They should indeed fear our kin for we are the harbingers of their destruction," Razauil answered as he picked up a shotgun and couple of rounds. OOC for the sake of the mission, I'll assume one of the NPC's came downstairs and informed us of your successful attack on the bridge (it's kinda bullshit, but I'm buying a microbead afterwards! ) Also, since our IT expert isn't here, I'll restrain from ordering anything about the engines. "The others were a bit slow, don't you agree?" he smiled as he placed a restraint over his captive's mouth while pushing him on his feet. "If that's all there is, we should move towards the extraction point." The Dark Eldar led his squad away from the Engine room and towards the juncture where he would meet with the rest of the team...
M2 Bridge assault Davaian roared as Shots came at his shield and his shield held. "I WILL DEVOUR YOU FOR ATTACKING IMPERIAL SUPPLY LINES." Davian roared. As he heard them beiging to reload he charged shield up and maul at his side ready to strike M2 After assault Davian could see that harker did not know if the captain was there he then looked down to one of the crew he put his shock maul and his belt and grabbed the corspe cut of its head. he then looked to the skull and began riping it in 2. After he had the precious brain he needed. He ate the brain hoping this man knew were the captain was. He put his sword back on his belt and his maul ready at his hand. "Harker I will see if this dead man knows were the captain is." Davain said with his mouth bloodid and it on his pale skin and claw like hands and his eyes were still that orange color.
