I know. Lol. And I just told you what I need right now. Yea, race specific ones are something I'm keen for. I particularly like the idea of characters being able to buy weapons belonging to their own race for cheaper, etc. I also had in mind things like being able to wear disguises, or lock pick, stuff that's not necessarily only useful in battle. I really want to encompass more than just fighting. I'm also open to classes for human mercs. Bounty hunter is a given, but the mercs are intended as forming the backbone of Ferrelian's crew, so will be technicians and stuff, too. And, though I already have lists drawn up, you guys are more than welcome to make suggestions for classes from the other races, too.
A few of my thoughts on dark eldar: Starter Classes: Kabalite warrior: All rounder Haemonculus: Support class, uses minions and buffs other dark eldar with pain Wych: Dedicated melee, lots of pain shenanigans Scourge: Dedicated ranged, jump troop. mandrakes: Infiltrator, mainly melee. Harlequins: Talker(?) negotiator Helion: Dedicated jump class, no heavy weapons though unlike kabalite Upgrade classes: Hekatrix bloodbride: Simply better wych Scourge: ? Haemonculus ancient: better, can make pain engines Mandrake stalker? More wargear options and warp shenanigans Reaver: upgrade from helion, can of course just be better helion. Kabalite trueborn: more wargear and better aim Harlequins: One of the special roles in the troupe. I know, looks like crap but maybe you can decipher it.
i have no idea what is going on, but i like the idea of basically being pirates, so count me in.... i guess
The crossed out ones were already in, harlequins are in, but as part of the Eldar corsairs. I hadn't really considered giving all of the 'sgt' level versions of each class, but that's not a bad idea. With Chaos I just put in Aspiring Champion as a catch all, but I guess here they're pretty specialist. Incubui are, imo, the most badass thing Dark Eldar have. They're in there. Yea. I have their melee in, but aside from that they're due to be among the last weapons added, alongside most of the Eldar and Dark Eldar stuff. Traits wise, I hadn't started them beyond a few basics, so any racials I have are from you guys. So yea, go ahead on that, Tau aren't at all my specialist. But, just FYI, the XV suits aren't due to be in, as the Tau here lack the support of the wider Empire. Which is the same reason some of the Eldar classes/vehicles will be missing ^^
NO XV-8 CRISIS?! Da heck, at least an Earth Caste Vre rank should be able to construct them?! Or we ain't even get those?! Because if not even XV-8 then also no Commando Suits, which makes high-end tau totally impossible. Because the highest then would be probably a darn XV-15 Ghost. And if not even XV-8 then no Broadsides either?! Sheesh so much hate for the Tau @.@ I mean I understand no Riptides or the new Space Hulk raider suits, but no XV-8, bleh.
It's hardly hate, or I wouldn't have included them at all The XV-8 suits are impractical for what I want to do, same as terminator armour, and though I might add both in as equipment, neither will be classes of their own because it makes no sense. ''Oh, hey, you completed x many missions...and look a suit of terminator armour just happened to get delivered in to my mailbox just now all the way out here, nowhere near your home chapter/legion. You can have it.'' Same applies for Tau, as they're renegades and thus without support from the Empire itself.
Do it like the Deathwatch Rulebook then says... You must earn the Crux Terminatus AND buy the armor..... Nonetheless you said 'no XV' suits.... I hope you did not meant NO XV at all. Because there are these suits: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Battlesuit#.U2g0lPRDvWQ As said I understand no Commando Suits, perhaps also no Crisis Suits, but no Stealth suits and no broadsides as well? All the Tau then got is their darn regular Armor and Pathfinders lol
