I'm not sure if this ever got answered, so I just ask it now. If I buy a weapon, will it be unlocked permanently or just temporary? Like for example, in Warrock when you buy a gun with in-game currency, it will only last for like 32 days.
NO i would quit the game instantly and i think everyone would agree that is a bad i idea that buying a master-crafted bolter for 30 days is unthinkable i think that that transaction should never happen if it does i mean its money grubbing at that point
Why would it be like that? It was already confirmed that the only things you can buy with real money would be cosmetics. Henceforth, game money will buys the rest definitely, no?
The norm is that you do not need to spend Requisition Points to spawn your class (excluding Terminator/Hero equivalents). We have discussed the possibility of unlocking somewhere in your progression, the ability to make loadouts over the normal points buy limit (points buy just limits how much you can equip in each loadout, you're not actually spending currency), but will make your loadout cost RP to spawn. Ideally, in this situation your character gains a little more versatility, but not too much more power. There may be the possibility of certain equipment that add an RP cost to spawning; but this would be an exception. As for everyone's questions about acquiring Requisition, I'm not going to speculate too much on how it might work right now. I need to consider what we want to achieve before looking at options for how. Rest assured, I will share progress when I am able to; it isn't because I don't want to, I'm just preoccupied with other feature designs at the moment to really work on it. I hope you understand I don't want to just make something up. Edit: swapped "build(s)" with "loadout(s)" to keep the terminology consistent. copy pasted from Michael Chan's post in http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/thr...us-about-progression-and-economy.2292/page-21
Free to play is only a small part of the game. The large meat of content like other races are b2p. We should get a standard unlock and keep model. There will be other equipment you can find in the underword but I don't know how this works.
Its a bad idea to be buying a Master Crafted bolter period! I would sincerely hope that the game has a little more depth than that. MC gear should be a reward for something such as a pve event, not through requisition points. Can you imagine everyone running around in MC gear? It would ruin the game... and I mean completely. IB
i think it was mentioned somewhere that your loudout is limited by a pointsystem (similar to tabletop armies) so if you want to have a mastercrafted bolter it will consume more points then a normal bolter so you will have less points for the rest of your loadout which means you are now better at range combat but worth in other stuff
