Weapons specific executions

Currently there is a small set of weapon executions, pretty much one per class despite the fact that most of the weapons don't fire in the same means , to that end i though up a few that hopefully could make it into the game, feel free to add any you want.

Standard Bolter - Keeps the current execution

Stalker bolter - the Tac kicks the target causing them to slide away while at the same time firing 3 precision shots right into the helmet.

Plasma gun - the Tac charges up the Plasma gun and proceeds to remove the targets head with said blast.

Storm bolter - the Tac starts firing from the bottom of the body all the way up ending at the head.

Plasma Cannon - the Dev places the cannon on top of the targets chest and starts charging, four seconds later he fires causing the head and limbs to vaporize in blue fire leaving nothing but a plasma scared chest plate with a giant hole in it.

Las-cannon- the Dev jams the las-cannon into the targets neck and hosts them into the air before charging a shot and firing vaporizing the target

Heavy Bolter - the Dev stomps on the ground knocking the target into a sitting position and then proceeds to fire a large quantity of micro rockets leaving gibbets at best.

Assaults seem to already have unique executions based on there melee weapons.

Too flashy, plus close ranged charged plasma shots damage the owner.

Bolter - 4 shots, 3 to the body, 1 to the head.
Stalker Bolter - 1 shot to the heart, 1 to the head.
Plasma gun - 3-4 quick shots to the chest leaving a melted cavity.
Storm Bolter - Same as the current one

Dev/Havoc - Pistol execution works just fine because their weapons are large and made for long range combat

    Melee is fine so far

Space marines are supposed to be deadly, if not brutally efficient. Eldar are quick and efficient, if not arrogantly flashy. Orks are extremely brutal, extremely violent, no other meaning to executing someone aside from the joy of hearing your own gun pound away into another's flesh, or feeling the power of your choppa as it sinks into their armor.

  3. While I do like the sound of all these executions, it would take a toll on the animation team. Perhaps near the release of the game will these be viable.

Indeed, they have enough on their plate with the Eldar and Ork factions without adding extra work redoing the space marine ones.

You sir, win one internet. Every time I stream I rant about how the knife animations and the executions are both too slow, and criminally inefficient. These people hate each other, but they're supreme soldiers first and foremost.

It pains me to watch some of the executions, the job is to eliminate the possibility of them ever rejoining the fight, however sometimes I feel like I'm watching a drama play out.

While I'm on the subject: the sword animations need to be fixed. It's very hollywood right now, not at all the HEMA styled fighting the marines are based on.

I can only hope they redo some of the animations to fit the style they supposedly represent when the animators are done making the two factions Eldar and Orks.

I liked the very wushu nature of the Eldar animations shown so far. EXCEPT THE KNIFE! Stop making the knife a big, flashy weapon! It should be quick, close, fluid!

As someone that is very skilled with knife combat, especially knife against knife combat, I know exactly how you feel.
