Why so? It is in the game. Unless the devs specifically say so you are fine to use whatever is neccesary to win. Or what about all the countless broken stuff that has been "abused" before it got fixed? The only bug in a game that has been abused and afterwards led to account bans was in Guild Wars 2 where you could buy high level items for in game currency and "forge" those items into better ones and make a killing from it, only that these items should´ve cost much much more and should´ve not been able to be "reforged" some people abused that buy buing thousands of those items and basically destroying the market. all we have here is that some people getting a few more kills than they should. the bugs should get fixed but thats it. in dota some bugs became actual mechanics, not saying that these bugs should stay bug but please calm your pants. In this patch I´ve already killed more melees than the entire time since release. And against PC spammers just learn the right timing to dodge, run up to them, circle them and gun them down.
It will be better to send it as bug report with proof, than creating flame on forum. However I have to say that if you expose cheaters and will get a ban for it, I would be really disappointed with devs. Like over 9000 disappointed. I bought three copies for of the game and planning to buy some more copies. But if DEVS will ban somebody for displaying cheaters ... Well it would be no go for me ... Honestly, I would be disappointed more, than I would be finding my wife cheating on me.
no they are not cheating, honestly i do get salty and yes i have outbursts but then i rethink after the game and realize its just something i missed, but these people are not cheating they are merely exploiting bugs etc.... and really if i do get banned for exposing these people then that just shows how little moderators/devs would actually care but for now im figuring out how to upload this video and then post it on here >.< Edit: i would cut it down straight to the point but i don't have that kind of software or patients so unfortunately i have to upload my entire bad game play so don't judge
Why not save yourself the heart ache of a possible ban and just use the video as the bug report? The Devs accept videos and in fact they are the best evidence because it's right there for them to see. Don't cut your nose off to spite your face though man. That's just silly.
While this may be a singular example, it is a far cry from the truth. I can remember a LOT of games that have banned players for abusing bugs, as far back as Everquest. And those are the ones I played/remembered. Saying that example is the ONLY case is untruthful. People will abuse any advantage you give them. The issue is the sheer amount of people doing it (Im looking at you, dodge escape stun) coupled with the low player numbers means there won't be anyone left to play if bans start getting handed out.
I'm confused. What's exploitable about the Dbash interaction? Something about rolling out of the way, because I'm fully under the impression rolling is a feature.
It is this abuse that plays a role in the continuous hemmorhaging of players from this game. People that don't want to have to resort to doing it simply leave.
i think you are just mistaking with the game simply being bad^^ Nah but seriously OP moderation is trigger happy here and even tho you are right to call out possible exploiters, you will also get roflstomped by the mods if you do it publicly and not via PM or report features Also I doubt behavior is going to ban ppl in the last hundreds of players left^^
its when you successfully Dbash an enemy light attack but when you go to do the kick/headbutt they can roll out of the animation technically that should not be aloud and is a massive bug a lot of the JPA/raptors and Stormboys do it cant quite quote on Eldar as well....not played against them in over 3 weeks
