Being passionate about the IP and the game you're a part of is not the same as being a mouthpiece for EA and Mythic. Paul was great at being a rabble-rouser. The Hype for WAR was completely unrealistic because the community put so much blind trust into him. We at least are holding (and should continue) Miguel and BE accountable for the mistakes they have been making along the way. Continuously push for a game that not even Games Workshop will likely ever deliver due to their outrageous pricing - and death grip on the creative rights to.

I mean even compare BE to it's licencor.

Without looking it up, does anyone even know the CEO of GW by name, let alone know his email?

When was the last time GW even publicly spoke to its community?

When were the prices changed to our demands?

When were the veteran's of the IP rewarded, in any capacity, for their loyalty of supporting 30 years of table top?

When was the last time official world wide contests were held to help support a massive lore writing event? Free of charge. Answer: The fall of Medusa V: 8 years ago!

When did GW ever ask for community input on developing their game?

I understand that these are upgrades for current founders and the prices have not been reduced for new comers. But even though I only have a Sergeant's pack, I can see why someone with a Xenos pack may be quite pissed about this deal considering they dropped a considerable amount of money and then lost a huge percentage of that.

In all honesty, I feel as though the fair compensation for this deal is to give that percentage of RTP's to those who already have bought the game. For example, I have a Sergeant's pack. If I had waited to buy a warrior's pack now, and then upgrade to the Sergeant's pack, I would have saved 10%. So, really, the fair deal here is I should receive a 10% bonus to my RTP's. Like a Holiday bonus for being there since the beginning. This should not carry over to if I chose to upgrade tomorrow, I do not receive an additional 25% bonus for getting a Captain's pack, I just get the financial deal.

Fair? I think everyone would be happy about that deal. Hell, if you do that, I think even more people will upgrade. (I will).

The issue with founders gifts have been well covered, looking forward to see what we get next year.

Now, the ONE thing that is important to me to share with you is regarding your GWS comment:

GWS are AMAZING partner to work with. Yes they have their perks, but with us they have been INCREDIBLY loyal through out the whole process EVEN before we had signed the licence... they protected us JUST because they promised me it was ours and they keep their words.

Now, companies have cultures and personality like a humain. GWS is an old lady with many set cultural rules. The one that ''gives'' the impression that they dont talk with their fans is the fact the DONT BELIEVE in Marketing. I have asked a few times for them to come in our twitch... but they NEVER speak publicly. Their MOTTO is ''If we built GREAT products, people will buy it''

They might evolve in time, but please remember that without them, their amazing support for a small studio when they were offered by LARGE AAA one way more to get our licence.... they STILL hold they parole to a French Canadian (me) and a French French one (David) that it was ours. In MY books that counts for a lot. Keeping your word vs making way more money and they choose Keeping their word.
