Two Issues with Ork Painboy

Not the "worst support" stuff I've been seeing but two other specific issues. First the size of the Dok Grenade makes it all but unthrowable over cover. Could we get the Servo skull treatment on this? Really tiny when thrown, expands on impact. Second issue, the Git up ya lazy grot smack after healing someone has a tendency to miss unless you step back a little bit since the painboy hops a little when doing a light attack.

My friend if those are your only issues with the painboy or if you belive those are there only faults i have to say you're sorely mistaken but i digress i wont be derailing this thread.

The Dok bomb is ludicrously large when it hits the ground and when thrown. It needs a downsize altogether since the Space marine grenade is smaller than an actual grenade, and whilst the servoskull treatment would be nice id like if it maybe had servo-skull HP since its the size of the doks needle.

Ork melee is one of most grevious issues with the faction and the dok really gets hit hard by this. Becuase of animations the painboy melee attack appears to have a "minimum range" when awinging also that the light attack with a weapon that is supposed to be identical to the knife swings slower than a chain sword , not stats wise but in practice due to animations. The Ork faction as a whole suffers Melee issues so yeah the "Get up ya grot" smack in the face doesnt work as well

Yeah those are my problems with doc as well, although I think Servo Skull and doc bomb health should be swapped honestly, it's only fair, they nerf Eldar "cus muh hit boxes" yet the servo skull is tankier than most players can dream off while being pretty small.

500EHP on the servo skull last i heard. That's basically killing a Vet. A tiny Vet. Since it seems two bolter shots kills the dok bomb, I'm guessing around 100EHP?

At least the doc bomb is a big ass green canister, the values should really be swapped, its insulting as an Eldar player that I lost 25% of my ehp because of "being slim" yet this thing is small and tanky as hell while the bigger target auto dies...

Especially when Apoth beacons can be put places that save for showing their aura, you'd never know were there. Same for the skull (Which i think they adressed by it not being able to scan through walls, but it still does on occasion) Which means it's a pain to hit them. You can see the Dok bomb where ever it's put, because it's half the height of an Eldar and glows bright green. the aura is a bit more subtle, and i don't know if because I'm an ork when seeing them but the AoE looks lower on the Dok Bomb than it does the Apoth beacon. That may just be a perception thing, because Orks are big enough it makes it looks small.

Always wondered that myself......the AOE does appear smaller. Or it could be that the particle effects area is smaller but the invisible healing hitbox is in fact the same.

Actually- Dok bomb could be less than that- or take a third bolt, since i don't think the bolter does 50 damage per shot. Not that it'd surprise me if it did. It's not too far off i don't think. Mid to high fourties?

38 unmodded, something close to 41 with CQC barrel

That's- lower than it feels. Though explains why 10-ish shots is a death.
