Transfer Doombolt to Eldar

    Reskin and rename to become Eldar themed, accelerate its charge-up, give to warlock as an grenade spell. Somehow an dirigible grenade would be less redundant on Eldar as they have only Plasma nade outside of hawk equipment.
  2. Cant break the lore like that Games Workshop wouldn't allow it. A better idea would be a fanned out lighting power for destructor. Eldar grenades could use a little loving as the blast radius on them is tiny compared to the other races frag grenades.

    There is a lore selection of warp manifestation for eldar, and for warlock there only one pure offensive spell, - distructor - discribed as a kind of magic flamethrower, with waves of blue flames. Others offensive forces -executioner, mind war and eldritch storm - are farseers tools.

    Well, the warlock in dow2 had an whole slew of cool abilities. The destructor there was an grenade-like spell and that was much more useful compared to the current iteration of it in EC.

    Setting aside for a moment the fact that this thread is completely beyond feasible, would Sorcerers be getting other cool spells instead? Since you mention DoW2, how about Doombolt and Let the Galaxy Burn?

    DoW2 version of Doombolt is precisely how i would like to see Doombolt spell in this game.
    The spell would function like this: There is an base amount of projectiles fired, the longer Sorceror charges up the spell the more projectiles gets added and spread increases in turn(to balance it off), until you hit a maximum cap of projectiles(which causes to instantly fire all projectiles that moment instead shooting them in sequence, as so there is an bonus for 'finishing' the spell) or the mana runs out(whichever comes first).
    That way Sorceror will have choice of contributing some ranged dps to the firefight as it can be fired in minimum amounts of 3, think of it used like a burst fire bolter(damage is ofcourse not on par with a bolter per se), or discharging an area of effect barrage via letting it further charge up.

    Let the Galaxy Burn i would also like to see being added, at best it would be tied to an new class of Wargear: Staffs.
    Staffs function like melee weapons(though im unsure which melee tier they should be correspondent to), each one is tied to an god's mark always and they will be providing an extra spell when equipped, that gets cast through this weapon instead the Sorceror himself.
  8. We had a lot of cool ideas for Spells n Buffs, but they all got soon'ed.
    But i like your interpretation of possible Doombolt-Spell
