"Okay, Marcus lead the Intel Collection please. I will go with Support and Supply this time. I know a guy to hire for our Armory, he was discharged about the same time I was. (Specialist Armorer (Military Grade)) OG come with this team please, I want one of your buddies to help out as well. (Hiver Scum) They will guard the place while we are gone and install a security system to make this place ours. It will take most of our funds but I think it necessary for start up. " Mr. West was treating this as a military situation to begin an actual special op outfit kind of thing.
@Azathoth Marcus nodded to Luger and looked to the other Marcus. "Alright I guess it's up to us to be sure they don't run into an ambush or a minefield. Now get over here we have a long walk ahead of us." He opened the door out to the under hive and went outside and waited for the other Marcus to come out and follow.
"Well off we go I suppose." Marcus put his respirator mask on and started walking. He wasn't really sure what they would come across in the residential area for all he knew it might be over run by insane mutants but at least his goal of finding his brother was a little closer.
"Aight, I hear yo. I n I got some homies at da hoods hangin' round. Mesa speaks to dem. Me brothas, aye? We can get few gangstas to keep da crip safe. Guaranteed. I trust dem, fo'real. We go back, got history." OG Log replies to Mr. West. That cat has things under control, dem leader types. Soldaboy. Scary blood claat. Good thang he's on our crew.
Gate slung the microwave-emitter flamer over his shoulder and produced his shotgun to carry in his hands. He nodded to Luger as he began to walk towards the door, and followed him out. "Lead the way, chief."
As the Gang headed off into the Residental area to both scout out who had taken over the Place leaving the barracks empty as it had been for years. Walking along the road all tooled up for anything meant they were all quite the intimidating sight, and it did bring some attention from the Enforcers on a walking patrol who started to tail the group to see what they were up to. Gang States Gang Members: 9 (7 PCs with 100 spending cash each), Specialist (Military Grade Armourer - Jericus), Hive-Scum (Trava) Gang Funds: 1300 to 125 (Actual deduction from cash in the stash made when stuff is actually acquired) Gang Vehicles: None Gang Territory: None ~~Intel Team- Skyruss (@TuskatheDaemonKilla ) Illiad (@Azathoth )~~ When the teams split up, Skyruss and Illiad would make a clean break from their covert trackers and be able to assess who had control over the residential area, a cluster of old hab-blocks that were still functional as a home despite some obvious and heavy damage from various weaponry that had been dished out at them over the decades it had stood, from bullets to Bolts, and some.... Unapproved developments like skyways and shacks built on the side of the blocks. At least the duo went unnoticed by the five Scum that roving around outside, who clearly looked like the rough-'n-ready sort that would take issues with anyone checking out their turf. None of them looked like the brains of the operation however, so that would likely mean he or she was hiding in one of the structures, and taking it over meant making an offer their leader couldn't refuse. Current Intel Summary 5x Hive-Scum (Autogun; Autopistol + Sword; High-Powered Stubpistol; Lasgun; Greatsword {2H Sharp}) Area not fully scouted. ~~Supply team- Tyesha (@Keidivh ), Nora (@Vulpas ), Gate (@XV-878 ), Luger (@TechCaptain), and Log (@GoreWrencha )~~ While the Intel team was scouting out their target, the Supply team would find Luger's guy, Jericus the Armorer with good bit of military know-how, down to one side of the road with various PDF weapons for sale, along with a set of Screamers (Security System). (Weapons that are available are Average and below, with bonus of all being Military Grade {But still priced normally!}.) When he saw Luger turn he said in complete disbelief "Luger..... Is that you?" Hanging around nearby was a Hive-Scum by the name of Trava, who seemed to have taken the job of Jericus's bodyguard given his close proximity to Jericus. He waved to OG, not being one of his crew but certainly remembering being a firm ally to that Ganger's lot.
Luger smiles and shakes hands with Jericus. "Hey, man. Long time no see. I see your still doing the armory thing. Good thing too. Got a job for you if you want, and for him too." Luger sticks a thumb at Trava. " Got a place in private to discuss business? " He looks around to make sure they are not being eves dropped on.
"Hóla dwag, how's it hangin'?" OG Log greets Trava and the two enter into weird ritual which looks to outsiders as mix of incoherent chatter and seemingly random hand signs and slaps, as if some sort of secret handshake.
~~Intel Team- Skyruss (@TuskatheDaemonKilla ) Illiad (@Azathoth ) and *Smily (@BuriasDempsey )*~~ While the two held their vantage point over looking the hab-blocks, it would become impossible to break the feeling that something was watching them.... And if one or both of them turned around, they would have the (mis)fortune of seeing "Smiley" a Xenos that was a rumoured to be a Genestealer, climb down from a structure that overlooked their position. At least they could confirm that it certainly is a Genestealer. ~~Supply team- Tyesha (@Keidivh ), Nora (@Vulpas ), Gate (@XV-878 ), Luger (@TechCaptain), and Log (@GoreWrencha )~~ While OG and Trava completed their ritual, Jericus replied to his old acquaintance "Sure I do, as frankly I'm sick of peddling wares in out of the way places like I'm a common trader down here." As he packed up his wares to go and talk in private, Trava replied "It's been cool here dude, found the weapons guy here when some fools decided that they wanted a ballistic discount from Jeri. Ended up landing me a sweet gig keeping it all on the level when he was selling guns." As they all went into a small room in what seemed to be a disused warehouse, lights inside flicking from age and their path to it took so many twist and turns that they lost their tailing Enforcers. Once they were all inside the place, Jericus put his cases of guns in a bunch of rusty and old crates and said to Luger "So, just give me the facts: What am I doing for ya, how risky will it be and what will I be getting for my work?" Clearly it was a mere formality for his old acquaintance, after all if he had something to offer, chances were it's going to be good enough that he doesn't have to peddle weapons like a street merchant.
