As Kruger peered out from the decrepit thing that passed for a home in the Hovel, he saw a new gang approaching the main assembly. He began arguing with the corner of the shack, "No they can't be with them. No I've never seen then either." He began pointing accusingly into the corner, "Shut up! I can't keep hiding alone. It's safer in a gang. Shut up! My mind is made up." With the argument concluded he crept out of the building walking his bike up to the new gang. With the Men in White running around he didn't want to risk starting the bike and drawing more attention than needed. Kruger walked up to the group that seemed to be talkin with Hovel's leader, if you could call them that. He twitched as his eyes darted from dark corner to trash heap and back to the same dark corner. He was still paranoid that his hunters were lurking all around him. But if he could blend in to the group they might not notice. He didn't say a word as he joined the gang as the moved forward. Let them ask him first no need to draw attention to himself.
In times past Tyesha would have been terrified and repulsed by such strange and twisted creatures. But she had summoned far worse, and nearly been killed by them. Besides, her time with the Black Hand had shown her that even the most mutated of folk were still people. Somewhere beneath their slimey scales and multiple limbs. Of course one of the most terrifying of the creatures was of course their leader. Hmm, well at least he pulls of the bat wings well. Taking a step forward from the group, Tyesha gave a small bow towards the leader. "Greetings good sir, my name is Sapphire, and these are my dear friends, members of the Black Hand. And no my dear, we are not part of Jurak's band. They causing you and yours some grief I take it? So distasteful" @kanila While she began her talks with the leader of this hovel she couldn't help but notice an armed man rather suddenly move his way into their group. Cocking an eyebrow and smirking slightly, she looked over the man a moment. "And a fine hello to you love, I don't seem to remember us recruiting you. Now I'm crazy, but I'm not forgetful."
With a slight nervous tick, "Yea I'm Kruger, looked like you could use some more people." He kept looking around, he would have to make this work. He didn't want to get caught in a lie right out the gate and get the boot. "Unless you don't need more people, then I'll go find another gang."
@kanila Marcus looked down at the gathering from his seat behind Maruke's head 'well at least they aren't feral' he thought to himself. He's seen stranger folk in his time on the outside so he wasn't deterred by their strange apperance like some of the more civilized members of the hand. He was about to speak when Tyesha managed to beat him to it being surprisingly polite to them while giving herself a name of Sapphire. He also noticed the strange man that appeared to be trying to blend in with their group despite non them ever seeing him before. He grumbled and after Tyesha and him had a little exchange he chimed in. "The Hand is always looking for more members." He said looking down from his perch the soulless eyes of his helmet seemingly staring into the man's soul.
@kanila Vetgar kept his eye on the mutant , he was wary of the newest member but he always was. When he heard the hostility in the voice of their "Leader" he discreetly clicked on the safety on his multilaser andpowered it up ready for negotiations to break down. Vetgar looked around the area for anything perciveable as a threat be it armed men or watchtowers to any semblance of a trap
"Good, that's good. Uh nice, uh whatever that is." He picked at a flake of dirt on his bike as he looked at all those gathered. Interesting bunch here he thought. What could they want here? He hated being out in the open like this, hopefully they would finish this quick and get moving.
~Watchful Eyes~ @Casavay , @TechCaptain , @bossaroo , @Keidivh , @Vulpas , @TuskatheDaemonKilla , @kanila Unfortunately, Kruger's paranoia wouldn't pan out at all, with nothing seeming to be out of the ordinary for once. Alas, there was still the impossible feeling of being watched playing on him, as if someone was viewing him, and the shadows seemed darker than they were before.... Either that, or he needed a dose of Wideawake as if sleep deprivation was becoming a problem for him again. OOC: Righte-o, rolled results for Paranoid: 5. Yar, this is normal for the Black Hand, just ask everyone else. Meanwhile, Vetgar would far more perceptive than the paranoid wreck that had just joined them, spotting that there was nothing going on within the actual throng of assembled mutants that posed a threat to the gang... Yet his hearing proved good enough to detect the sound of vehicles approaching their positon, and one of them sounded much more powerful than the average Hiver vehicle... OOC: Vetgar's roll: 90. See? Luck comes and goes like it's a drunkard! Meanwhile, Tyesha spoke to the leader of the mutants and he replied "Well, thank the Emperor for that. They've been bloody brigands around here, stealing what little they have cause no-one would ever stick up for us and so bring them to an end..." He trailed off, seeming to fall into unpleasant memories, bringing any murmuring among the crowd to an end (likely something truly traumatic to render them all speechless) but recovered to say: "If you'd fend off those frakers for us, I'd be happy to see what we can give you for your aid, Sapphire." {ETA of Vehicles: ?}
Vetgar swore loudly before checking his gun and looking around for good cover while keeping an ear open for the vehicles . Vetgar walked over to the leader of the town and Tyesha and he spoke in a low volume " Folks i hear something foul comes this way and from the sound of that engine its something big and mean, These marauders wouldnt happen to fancy usin vehicles would they ?" @Keidivh @TuskatheDaemonKilla "Madam Saphire maybe we should consider getting these good folk to safety if those frakkers are really approaching" Vetgar kept an ear open as he turned to Marcus " how big a vehicle do you think that big beastie of yours can handle ?" Vetgar then slturned towards the road looking for anyway to block the road @Vulpas Vetgar pressed on his comm bead and switch to gabriel " we've got what sounds like some vehicles approaching keep an eye out , from the sound of em they shouldnt be too hard to spot, send us word when you see anything"
Swinging his shotgun around he heard mention of vehicles approaching. In a low whisper, "Of course I was being careful! Now shut it!" His near always jittery hands fumbled through his bag finally finding the Wideawake, he quickly took a dose trying to focus more. He checked his snub revolver and looked for cover. "What's the plan boss? We fighting here or moving to a better spot?"
@bossaroo Marcus grumbled at the sign of combat. Why can't they have one peaceful day without combat and just peace and quiet so he could get over this damned hangover and recover from getting shot in the face?! But none the less he sighed and answered the older man. "I reckon if he really wanted to he could throw a chimera a good distance and probably eat a Tauros whole. Not sure how his hide would stand up to anything more powerful than a heavy stubber though and I don't want to loose the big guy." He patted Maruke on the top of his head as if to show the affection he had for the beast. @kanila Marcus looked down at the twitchy new edition. "We should probably meet them before they make it inside the town. You know limit collateral damage and all that."
