    Marcus frowned at Tyesha after she called him a baby and poked her in the stomach with his left index finger. "The day I get used to being electrocuted is the day you get used to this." He said as he poked her again this time in the side the claw digging into her skin and generally making an uncomfortable sensation but no actual pain. "But not having to duck and cover everytime you try to use your powers would be nice. But I don't have any contacts down there, by the time I finally made into here from the wastes I was more interested in move up than being social. Doesn't mean I won't help but it won't be easy tracking down someone that far down in the underhive. But we have a name so that's a start and it sounds better than getting into another gun fight with the pact so I'm more than willing to help."

    He then stopped poking her and brought his hand back and placed it on the table. His right arm was still around her but in truth it had fallen asleep at this point. Marcus was also starting to realize his own exhaustion and yawned but didn't really want to get up either so he sat there looking tired.

    After the Gang had managed to claim some sleep and let their various consumed liquids go through their body, they would wake up and find that both Eva, Atris and Smiley seemed to have irrevocably disappeared, given that no-one on guard duty saw them come, leaving them down three of the more colourful gang members.

    If anything positive was to be found within that saddening turn of events, they at least seemed to have left their cash behind for the Gang just by the front door, as a parting gesture, and that Jericus was willing to see if the other members of the Gang could do stuff while they were out.

    {Gains: 1181 credits per PC.}

    Once the decision was made by the group to press onto into the Hovel, which entailed passing by their old HQ (before a certain mutant pulled off a trick with a grenade bandoleer that leveled the place.) As they passed by the still rubble-covered area, the flaming gas main had finally ended, making the area now safe to rebuild...

    And failing to cover the stench of the corpses from that accident, along with the buzzing of flies and the obvious sight of maggots devouring the flesh of the poor original gang members. Tyesha would still sense that all was not well, given that something still seemed to stir inside the rotting corpses.

    Before that could become a major problem however, the old service tunnel that Tyesha, Graves and Vetgar used to reach the Guild of the Hunters would soon be found again, only this time the Black Hand clambered down the tunnel, which became steadily more hazardous the closer they were to the Abyss. However, Maruke did have some size-related issues... Solved by his own application of brute force to the offending pieces of architecture.

    ~Abysmal Conditions~
    As the Gang headed down the service tunnel, the transition from a maintained, if done to a bare minimum environment to the 'proper' Underhive would be apparent, given that the once stale air seemed to take on a more rancid smell, and lights that were once reliable, albid dim, were suddenly very rare compared to flickering or broken machines. That, and the unfortunates that had been in the tunnel on the way up took a turn for the more mutated as they walked down, outcasts from normal society.

    When they finally exited the tunnel, it would soon become apparent just how little attention the Abyss received, as metal walls that once bore panelling had parts stipped off with no logic behind the wanton damage and the floor was littered with rubbish of ages past, leaving the coughing of the atmosphereic machinery that still strived to deliver air, no matter how bad in quality to the denizens of this sector of the Hive.

    From their vantage point, it would be easy to see the Chapel, standing as a becon of order (and cleanliness) in the rather horrid conditons down here, and the Hovel which a collection of shacks, lean-tos, and other hastily improvised structures, near a lake of some-green looking liquid that certainly didn't look inviting for a casual swim.

    However, a few sharp eyes amoung the Group (Marcus, Gabriel), would see that there was a section of the urban waste land that looked a little too forced near the Hovel, with Marcus being able to spot a red banner and a few crates of weapons looking far too organised for it to be a hasty cache of weapons....

    OOC: Rolls for Perception(Seeing anything unusual): Marcus: 81, Tyesha: 24, Graves: 10, Nora: 51, Gabriel: 64, Vetgar: 40.

  3. After the rather unpleasant task of getting Maruke through the service tunnels with a hangover and throbbing headache Marcus was relieved albeit still a little grumpy to finally get into the abyss and therefor a little closer to his homeland in the wastes. He stood up from his perch behind his war beast's head and took in the view seeing not only the hovel that was their target but also the chapel in the distance. "Well that was awful." He said to no one in particular as he scoped out the hovel seeing what appeared to be signs of a fairly organized and well armed presence though he wasn't sure who exactly they were. "There's the hovel and it looks like we might have a fight a head of us, not sure about their numbers but they have plenty of weapons. Lets try to solve this peacefully for once I'm not in the mood for a gun fight." He said as he pulled on Maruke's collar telling him to start moving again.

    -Gabriel
    Gabriel took note of what he could see from his scope a location that looked to have cover Cobbled around it likely whoever lives there to be on watch.
    "I am going to take the high dark road and try to provide overwatch while you guys approach, I'll keep my eyes and ears out." Gabriel said as he began looking for alternative routes that would provide him a good view of the hovel and keep him out of site.

    -Nora
    Nora kept her weapons ready ever since they past the old base she felt like something was wrong, corpses of old friends they would need to take care of and give a prayer over were on the edge of her mind. Keepunbg her shield ready she looked on glad to see a chapal a semi safe place of worship for someone.

    Turning there eyes on the mutant hovel Nora nodded in agreeance with Marcus. "I shall be at your side with ya." Nora said taging behind Marcus if things went wrong she at least had a few decent weapons that she could use in close combat and if the enemy tried to open up on them from a building she mayrbe be able to aid with a bit of support from her flamer.

    Tyesha was deeply saddened to see that neither Smiley nor Eva had returned home after their last excursion. Not only had she lost two friends, but she lost perhaps the only person who truly understood her plight. Now once more she felt alone with the maddening voices growing slightly louder once more. Thankfully this void was partially filled as two members of the Sapphire Guard arrived, eager to serve Lady Demetris in the newly formed Sapphire Vanguard.

    However this comfort faded quickly as they made their way past the ruins of their old base. Nothing but bad memories and blood left for us here.

    Blood you spilt.

    That's not true.

    Your weakness has killed so many, why do you damn them by staying close? All's your capable of is bringing them death and pain.

    And all your capable of is annoying the fracking hell out of me. Now crawl back to the Warp dearie.

    Tyesha's 'conversation' was interrupted however as a rather unnerving feeling began to form in the pit of her stomach. Amidst the sorrow and carnage there was something else. Something more. She bit hard on her lip as she she put more focus on her mental barriers, her pace quickening noticeably. "Tyrus dearie, make a note. This place needs to be burnt."

    "As you say mi'lady." The heavily armed soldier responded as he continued alongside her, his attention still purely on watching for danger.

    ~The Abyss~

    Finally after a great deal of walking, and Tyesha's multiple attempts to hop on Maruke, they arrived in the Abyss. Must say, whoever gives names to these areas certainly has a knack for it. She laughed lightly to herself as she looked over the area, seeming to be corroding in front of her eyes, which wouldn't stop watering courtesy of whatever the hell that smell was.

    @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Vulpas
    Upon hearing Skyruss mention something about possible heavy resistance this laugh died. For Emperors sake don't tell me they've expanded here to... She rushed up to the front where Nora and Skyruss had taken lead, "Hope you don't mind if I join in loves, if we're looking to end this peacefully, I believe I can help. My madness does have a certain charm to it after all. I'm sure you both can attest to that!" She swung an arm around her favorite medic as they moved forward.

    "Whatever happens dears, we must be cautious. We are dangerously close to Jurak's Maruaders. Surprisingly well armed for folk down here. Xenos-tech, and a shite ton of vehicles. Course I'm sure we'll end up being the best of friends!" She said in a cheerful sing-song voice.

    At least if worst came to worse they had a deadly gladiator, small troop of recruits under their grumpy guardsman, and their dear noble in the shadows.

    Marcus looked down at the witch. "Considering that we somehow always seem to get drunk together I'd say you're pretty charming. You know besides the fact that you're a spire born witch with only one arm but hey this place seems to be pretty kind to freaks." He said smiling under his helmet as he rode. "By the way how do you know about something this far down anyways? I mean I only went through here to get to the upper levels after making it in from the wastes but why would a noble like you be down here?" He asked thinking that some conversation with some pleasant people might help him ignore his headache.

    Tyesha blushed slightly at hearing Skyruss. The man had called her many 'endearing' terms in their history, but charming was one she'd never thought she'd hear from him. Then the more common nickname popped up, and Tyesha flashed him a wicked grin. "Oh Skyruss such a sweet talker you've become, if I didn't know you any better I'd say you were growing soft on me you bull-headed grenade tossing neanderthal you." As for his second question, Tyesha simply gave an innocent shrug as she trotted along.

    "Why the voices in my head silly man, where else would I get it." A small smirk could be seen beneath her hood, clearly hoping to freak the mutant out a little.

    @bossaroo
    While she waited for the Wanderer's reaction she called over to Vetgar who had been largely silent on the journey. "Vetgar my dear, how are our recruits doing? Think they're up for having some fun in this beautiful Abyss?"

    @Keidivh
    Vetgar chuckled lightly as he was distracted with the recruits "they're having plenty of proper fun hehehaha" the man began chuckling at the recruits as they look panickedly around the area "they've just got the jitters is all. Might have ta knock a few heads to keep em in line"

    Vetgar then looked at the array of boxes, crates, barrels and scrap and promptly face palmed "that is an ambush so blatant that even orks would be ashamed of. Bit daft of me to have not seen it earlier. I mean c'mon they're just leavin the cover lyin about all over the damn place. "

    @TuskatheDaemonKilla
    Vetgar stroked his beard when he remembered Marcus' request " well ifn we dont want to call the grave diggers myself, you an' the beastie might be able to scare whatever frackers are hiding there into at least a parlay" The old guardsmen said as he hefted his multilaser just in case

    Marcus chuckled at Tyesha saying she heard the information from voices in her head. "I already know you're insane Ma'am you don't need to give me more proof. Besides that doesn't exactly answer my question oh and if you want me to start growing soft on you maybe you shouldn't call me a bullheaded neanderthal." He said swearing to himself some times he didn't understand half the words that woman said. Honestly what was a neanderthal anyways? Doesn't sound like any clan he's heard of.

    @bossaroo
    "Sounds good I guess it's not like I could come up with something better with this damn hangover." He said grabbing his forehead in an exaggerated motion. With the combined pain of waking up after drinking an irresponsible amount of alcohol and surviving a high caliber bullet to the face he really didn't feel like getting into a loud and stressful situation like a gun fight. Besides if he ended up in Nora's makeshift clinic again he might have to start paying the woman.

    As the Gang split up to deal with the Hovel situation, Gabriel would find that the only spot he had for keeping an eye on the Black Hand as they entered the Hovel would be a ruined tower that while it looked stable structurally, it was also perilously run down leaving it perhaps hazardous to stay in the building for too long, lest he wanted to become another victim of falling construction standards. (That would never have been tolerated anywhere else in the Hive.)

    ~Advance Party~ @Keidivh , @TuskatheDaemonKilla , @bossaroo , @Vulpas , @Casavay

    Meanwhile, everyone else would then advance upon the Hovel, where it became apparent that there was a gathering within what appeared to be the centre of the place, mutants ranging from those who had just a single feature, like scales or very noticeable fangs to make them as different from 'normal' humans, going all the way to those who looked like the offspring of two particularly ugly Chaos Spawn, like a woman who seemed to be more snake than human, with only her arms and exposed mammaries to confirm what species she was likely meant to be.

    More importantly, there was a platform of scrap with what appeared to the leader of the hovel, a man evidently of twisted genetics or the unfortunate victim of industry with bat wings and the snout of some-lizard like animal who seemed to be speaking to the assembled mutants as if he was their leader, which would be surprising given the far more primitive form that politics often took down in the Underhive.

    Naturally, being such a well armed (and well-dressed) group they were spotted within nano-seconds of them being visible to the residents of the place, with the mutant on the platform booming "Who are you lot, and are you in anyway in league with the Marauders?" As he spoke, the rest of the crowd turned to face the group with their gazes scrutinizing every member of the Black Hand present, and not only for the sake of determining if they were friend or foe.

    At the same time, Kruger (@kanila ) would also see the Gang while he hid away in one of the Hovel's homes, having bunkering down in the Hovel after his former gang had fallen apart from a failed turf war, and the Men in White becoming bold, having been spotted roaming around the Hovel in the aftermath of that tragedy, hunting for him.

    OOC: @kanila , you may now make your introduction! :)

    ~Time Skip~
    Back at the Gang's Headquarters, a meeting currently took place between Jericus, the other members of the gang and a new arrival by the name of Ferilock, a older man who seemed to be aging with grace, a mane of silver hair contrasting well with his faded, yet fine clothing that belied his status as someone with connections. Naturally, the topic of the meeting was based about what to do while the Gang's founders were out and about.

    Soon, Ferilock disclosed the presence of a cache of High-Tech equipment that he'd stashed within the depths as 'insurance' for hard times, and that while he would hand over the codes to access it, the place would have to be found by the rest of the gang as in his own words: "A man of my age is in no condition to be running around like he was in his prime."

    With that being an acceptable plan, as considered by Jericus and Eos conferring with eachother (the fact that Eos came from another gang no longer a matter of concern), Eos took out a strike force of the Gang's members who were not currently affiliated with any of the Founders, to go and find Ferilock's cache of wargear....
