All of his left ear is missing from someone biting it off during his years of harsh indoctrination into the Lords of Destruction. It was later repaired and upgraded for, functionality only, to bionic status to ensure it was not a hindrance. Personality: Azazel's personality is dark, even in comparison to most Astartes. His beliefs reflect upon whom he is, and that belief is that the only redemption that can be found is through utter destruction. When it comes to planning, Azazel never wants to merely win a battle, he wishes to break the back of the enemy and rip their hearts from chest. If one looks to Azazel for mercy or pity, they shall find none. Traitors shall find no feelings of comfort when Azazel is in the room, for his aura is that of death and for a traitor, that is all he seeks for their judgement. History: Azazel was born on the Fortress World of Sanctuary, deep in the Eastern Fringe. To say life on Sanctuary was easy, was nothing sort of a lie. The name of the planet was far beyond misleading. As soon as Azazel could walk, he was taken from his parents and forced into training for war. Forced was probably not the best word for it, as this was tradition for all healthy young males on Sanctuary. Where others felt pain, hunger, and depression, Azazel felt nothing for something within his mind had broken, or lacking. All that could be said about Azazel, other than his aptitude for the art of combat and battle tactics, was that he was fiercely loyal. After serving twenty years on Sanctuary's PDF, Azazel's fierceness in battle was taken notice by the Lords of Destruction. Without hesitation, Azazel accepted the offer to take on the trials to become an Astarte and after many years of pain, training, and countless procedures, he was elevated to a scout and served in the chapters Seventh Company called the Warriors of Destruction. During this time, he showed a affinity for the use of close quarters weaponry. Though he surely was not lacking is ranged skills, Azazel had much preferred to look the enemies of man in the eyes as he took the life from them. He found it to be much more personal and satisfying. With many battles and victories under his belt, Azazel was quickly placed within the Fourth Company. During the last years of his service in the Fourth Company, Azazel fought with his brothers in the Campaign of Anguish, led by Captain Andaris. The Campaign of Anguish was started by a rebellious Governor named Tarus Ajun of the Agricultural World, Gratus III. Growing tired of paying the ever increasing tariffs on his goods, he began to secretly convince other worlds within the system to join his cause by using his Agricultural World as a leverage and a threat. In time, Governor Ajun turned seven planets to his cause and declared himself, and the others independent from the Imperium. Believing that his tactical hold on the system and flourishing supply lines, the foolish Governor began to get comfortable. With orders coming for Terra herself, the Fourth Company, as well as some of the scouts from the Seventh Company, were deployed to put down this rebellion. Unbeknownst to the Lords of Destruction, the Governor was being aided and reinforced by a very small Warband, known as The Hated. After resecuring the seven other planets, the Lords of Destruction made landfall on Gratus III. What they encountered was a dug in force of traitor PDF and Astartes of The Hated. It was during this final battle of the Campaign of Anguish, that Azazel's skills in the art of close quarters combat was taken notice of. Lucifer, whom had been sent to investigate the rebellion of Gratus III, witnessed first hand the quick thinking and leadership of Azazel. The Fourth Company had been hammered for days by artillery fire and Azazel's Sergeant had been killed, forcing the rank upon him to ensure order was kept. In a valiant effort to save numbers and maintain maximum efficiency, Azazel ordered his squad to standby for his mark. Under the cover of night, Azazel lower crawled for nearly eight miles to reach the artillery position unnoticed. Once he was within range, he tossed three grenades into the artillery position and used the surprise to take out the position on his own. It was this brief relief of artillery fire that allowed a focused push on the Governor's stronghold and a final end to the traitors. Seeing the fearless nature and unrelenting will to ensure the mission is complete, Lucifer 'requested' Azazel transferred under her service. Before leaving with Lucifer, however; Azazel was presented with two new weapons to carry out destruction in the Emperor's name; a power sword and a master crafted bolter pistol.
@matt23 rly cool to see a dude from that chapter coming to life once again props to you bro However real question is - does @Uriel1339 remember Sitri? (coz I just did lol after reading matt's char sheet)
@CommissarGaunt - While I appreciate the effort put into your sheet, I'd like you to lose one of your weapons choices. @Vulpas - You can play a vampyre if you so desire, but consider the implications such a being would have on crew morale. @kanila - You could still do your two-man character if you want.
Saw this before Matt's sheet, oh Sitri the tank commander and his little serf! Fun stuff. Aaaaand of course you don't reply to me, thus I assume it's green light and I will get moving onto personality phase @matt23 - criticism I mean feedback time because my chapter! :3 #1 - 4rd company? :3 Does that everyone in the company looks like Harrison Ford? #2 - Missing ear, love it. He might have a bionic replacement ear-hole piece though so not repairing the aesthetic of the ear but rather a little 'funnel' or such to make sure hearing is not impaired. #3 - A psychopath like that makes me proud to see to be born on Sanctuary! Because psychopaths that lack any emotion like that are exactly what sanctuary is supposed to bring forth, ahahaha! He will make a great Andaris one day :3
That 4rd made me laugh once I re-read it lol I'm glad you like it. It took me a while to come up with it, without making him seem over the edge crazed. I also added the ear part to the appearance and gear.
