After reading through 14 pages, I would have to say I like thes idea the most:
    - Only 1 Downed state per life (2 if you get rezzed within 7secs)
    - After being rezzed, you have less health. Maybe 30% of max health?
    - After being rezzed, you have 7~12s of Combat Ineffectiveness: Wobbly aim, Terrible recoil, Faded color vision and shellshock sound effect.

This is so that you don't just spring up into action, unless there's a perk system that allows ONLY Melee classes to have a "Second Wind" period or savagery.

Consuming a medpack or getting healed by medic will remedy this Combat Ineffectiveness phase.

After 7~12s, your character regains composure and will be able to aim proper again, manage his weapon's recoil, regain vision color and hearing capabilities.

This would be an extremely immersive and harrowing addition to the game, and also curbs the "hordes of undead" soldiers.
  2. ^ Yah thats pretty much it, maybe a little less than all of those factors, but definitely something along those lines. I AM SO PRECISE!!!!

The time to revive imo should take 5 seconds maybe. It seems like 10 is too much. I basically would like a little less instant revive. But then again, I aint a founder (yet), and I aint making this game. Gears of War instant style revive, well I guess I didn't have a problem with it per say.

I dunno, I'm day dreaming too much. I want aliens vs. predator (2010) style first person but mmo with wh40k and better controls, animation, thats my dream. Instead of dual wrsit blades as a predator, you got a fucken chainsword as a marine. mah dreamz....

That whole "immersive" aspect to avp 2010 (rebellion) as in, when you go to do something, your character makes the appropriate animation to do said thing, like re charge your energy as a predator, or execute someone. It was just fucken cool how "I AM THE PREDATOR, PUNCHING A HOLE THROUGH YOUR STOMACH, then GRABBING YOUR SPINE AND RIPPING IT (ALONG WITH YOUR HEAD) OUT.

IMO, that was fucken always epic, the e-grabs.

Since EA is coming soon, I hope devs would see the suggestions above and implement it into the game.
Oh and also, please nerf the dodge/jump distance and speed. Make them hop back/forth/side instead (a la Devastator Hop in THQ's Space Marine)

Yeah, have them hop or do a short jump, if you got a space marine in real life to try and do a roll like what they have now, the backpack would tear off or he would fall flat on the ground.

  5. go to the top left of your screen and click the YouTube button
then look through some of the short in game vids
in one of those we see the deva do some side and back stabs, it looks a bit to funny for my taste xD

I doubt that they will change the combat roll animation to something else but its worth a try
just find something which does not look silly ^^
  6. In the play we saw players got points for kills even if the target got back up after,

I was so thrilled about that! It's just great to see that they pay attention to the forums, and that they know what's good for the game <3

I really can't wait for the game module. Merry christmas to one and to all!
  8. Makes it even more fun for the killer of newbs. I was playing DUST 514 waay back, and a dude ran out into the open, i murder shot him at long range, and was about to move on when a medic ran out to save him. (Generally medics run out to save a guy in the open once before they learn their lesson for good) So i waited while the medic did his thing, and murder shot the guy again as he got up. The medic ran about like he was afraid id shoot him, but i didn't, and proceeded to let him revive 8 times, getting points every time before putting the medic out of his misery XD. This will probably not cost the enemy team many tickets, but the attacker still gets a reward.
