The Wheel and Spoke Model

So, as @Oveur suggested it seems the wheel and spoke model this game is adopting is creating a great deal of flexibility while bypassing some of the serious technical problems that prevented them from going open world. It obviously raises some questions that seem to be difficult for the Dev team to answer. I don't necessarily blame them, it's probably the most difficult task ahead to create even a sliver of most envision as massive combat. So here lies a wishlist (I'll add to it when I can, based on the responses) about what's even feasible.

    Currently

    We can group up.
    We can guild.
We can fight in two different PvE modes across several maps.
We can fight in essentially 2 PvP modes on the following map teirs: Skirmish (15v15), Battle (20-30v20-30), and Grand Battle (64 capped). 8 maps total so far.

What we all want obviously is the performance and optimization to get better so the game to run smoothly. Which is still priority #1.

What I want, is after this point of optimization we see an increase in player counts - and as I understand it, there was little difference in a game with 80 or 100 people in it, so if the barrier holding the devs back from 64+ is broken, then a fairly decent upgrade in battle size could occur.

    In the Definite Near Future
    PvPvE
    Guild Banners and Progression
    Elites
    TEQs
    2 New PvP maps
    Campaigns

In the Forseeable Future (By July)
    Mutators
    Improved Garrison
    Guild Garrison
    Tank Battle Maps
