The Vect fluff has been changed. He wasn't supposed to be alive during the fall. Phil Kelly changed his story a bit from Gav Thorpe's version.
Ah. I can see why - the role of the 10,000 year old, so-old-you-can't-even Eldar is already kind of fulfilled by good old Eldrad. Still though, who's to say that Vect wasn't merely 'embellishing' the story a little bit? A scar on his neck means little. That, and it's still a good description of the Fall. except how he mocks us craftworlders grrrrrr
" Beyond the edge of the sea, the building continued; wherever it was that Aradyan looked he saw endless white stone, which from orbit he had mistaken for permafrost. Every scrap of land was covered with domes and bridges, towers and hall... "this city must have been teeming with people in its prime," said Aradryan" "Not at all... only 4 thousand dwelt here. It is a palace. not a city." said Lechthennian" " What of the other dwellings? How many lived outside the palace" "There is only the palace...The whole world is the palace, every continent and island built to the design of one person" Had to cut alot but one of the most interesting passages from Path of the Outcast
