<Eldar Corsair> Venus - Having deployed without an aircraft, despite being mainly pilot - had her Shuriken Catapult primed as she was with the Rangers, due to her experience on the field and the knowledge of how to move concealed, quiet and swift. Some things she learned from a certain Mymearan during the Betalis III campaign. She would await for the command for her and the Rangers until further action. OOC: @Metaldog.... Hehehehe.... hehe.....he....hehe...
OOC: Uriel you beat me to the Soul of Infinite Stars reference!! Grrr, well-played sir. <Saranthir> "It is of the utmost importance that the Orks do not spread to the canyons, their unique layout will serve to hide us from any observers while we search for whatever it is the Seers saw." The Autarch sighed, gesturing towards the crew of the Prism, who begin to prepare the Fire Prism for action. Saranthir jumps gracefully off the Prism and onto her jetbike. Her Shining Spears mounted up as well, ready to follow their leader to the end as she takes off towards the Ranger's position. "Hold there Ranger. I am coming to see this personally, and my host shall follow behind me, we shall see if we can draw these Orks away from the canyon."
OOC: You are welcome lol. <Corsair> "And my duty? Just follow on my feet, running after the Jetbike or what?" The female asked annoyed, having her Shuriken Catapult casually laying around her shoulder. "I came for some fun and killing and such alike, not for walking around!"
<Saranthir> The Corsair's question is heard clearly by the arriving Autarch. "Your job Venus, is whatever I say it is, but do not fret, your reputation as a pilot preceeds you. I assure you that you will not be bored for much longer." She dismounts from her bike as she moves towards the front. "Ranger, may I borrow your rifle to observe the situation myself?" <Aurelius> The Force Commander's fingers tapped against the armrest of his chair on the bridge as he thought for a second before replying to the Inquisitor. "Nonetheless Inquisitor, I have been instructed to place my Brothers and I at your service to assist you in this matter, and I shall see it through to the end. I too have a bad feeling about this, and so did my superior officers, or I would not be here. I shall join your meeting, you may expect me within the hour." As Aurelius's words finished echoing, tech priests were already relaying the orders to prep the Commander's Thunderhawk for transport, and it would be ready by the time he got to the hangar.
The Ranger "Of course, Autarch," the Ranger replied, handing his rifle over to the Eldar leader and shuffling aside to give her a better view of the situation. The Orks were as wild as their namesake, no doubt; just as warlike and brutal as all the others the Ranger had encountered over his long, adventurous career. The main battle on the desert dunes seemed to be calming- if you could call it that- into two main forces, one wearing armour wearing green and the other wearing armour painted a silvery-white. Many Orks belonging to defeated rival tribes even seemed to be scavenging armour from the deceased belonging to them, slapping it over their own just to prove their new loyalty - if they weren't outright killed first. Still, two particularly large Orks were making a mess of things. One, on the green side, seemed to have half his face missing and wielded two large guns, one in each hand, which fired rounds that caused those hit at close range to explode into a mist of red. The second wore a band of white over one of his eyes, and held a hammer so large that it took two of his enormously muscular arms to swing it effectively; the attacks more than capable of sending any unfortunate Greenskin flying through the air. Slowly but surely, the two Orks were getting closer to one another. The one who won would effectively double the Boyz under his command. --- Inquisitor Annihilus "Very well, Commander. I will see you here shortly," said the man, as cleared a space on a round surface and began to collect all the scan reports and written transcripts of the psychic distress signal that had originally been sent. There was still time to go over it again before the Space Marine arrived - and hopefully the Lord General wouldn't be too far behind. As much as he loathed not having direct control of the Imperial forces, he wouldn't make planetfall without the General's approval - and his soldiers for good measure.

<Big Mek Bigzzap> Shouldering his Kombi-Scorcha the Big Mek scratched at a spore wart with the choppy bit of his spanner, ignoring the slight jolt it gave him on contact and the flesh it singed; he was well used to being zzapped, scorched and boomed at this point. "Dose two gitz....I bet I could krump 'em while deyz not lookin me way and take care uv dis whole mess an git me a bunch more boyz fer da tribe. GRIKKIT!" A nervous looking Gretchin skittered up behind him. "Y-yes Boss? " "Grikkit. Get da uver runts up here with somin big an killy. I might just 'ave a plan ta get a whole lot more scrap an some workin boyz, bring me....da Zzap Squigapult. " Grikkit nodded furiously and scattered off yelling and hollering. Several minutes later as the battle below continued to reach it's head a large contraption was rolled up. It was primitive in design as it's ammunition was crude: A number of bloated 'Sploding squigs were brought forward. Where as a simple minded Mek boy would load them up with shrapnel or other metal bits, Bigzzap was a genius and had loaded them up with shrapnel and ZZAPPY Metal bits. A number of the irate creatures were loaded into the device, one at a time and careful as could be to avoid pre-detonation. Their legs had been sheered off to keep them in place, a task that had killed several Spanner boys and a dozen Gretchin, but was ultimately worth it. "Good! Prepare fer firin on me mark....." Bigzzap grinned toothily as he watched the bosses get closer and closer, this gambit of his would go perfectly, certainly! Nothin was gonna out-Mork him here.
