Name: Satharn Tem Class: Astartes Gender: Male Warband/Legion/Other Association: Night Lords, 5th Company Legionary Regular Equipment: - Main Weapon: Heavy Bolter - Secondary Weapon: Chainglaive - Accessory: Skinning Knife - Armor: Mark IV - Helm (if special/different from armor): death's head - Special Item (like Jetpack, Sorcerer Book or something like that): A small hololithic containing a copy of the recording of Konrad Curze that was distributed to the VIIIth Legion after the destruction of the Calidus temple on Uriah 3. This is like a reliquary to him in its significance, though it has no supernatural powers. Mutations and/or Chaos God Gifts (Optional): The Sons of the Sunless World do not need the gifts of Chaos! ... lately tempted by the apparent comradeship offered by the Ruinous Powers to those that serve them, and a place at the side of some(thing) that serves a higher cause, Satharn is still managing to resist giving in to following any of the Dark Gods. At times, he feels his Will grows weak. Primarch Curze is gone, and even in life he hated his sons. What's the point of life without a purpose? At times he feels as if the rage and at its core, a sense of abandonment will carve a hole right through his hearts and fill them up with fury. That would be good, yes? Stop the burning with blood. Stop seeing the things at the corner of his eye that scream and dance and tell secrets and bleed. But at others he knows that Chaos is a tool. And the Night Lord will use every tool at his disposal to prove once and for all the only truth he knows: that Death is Nothing Compared to Vindication. History & Appearance: After the dismal failure of the VIIIth Legion to best the Dark Angels in the Thramas Crusade, Satharn followed the Night Lords' new direction, though he wasn't initially fond of it. He was not a high-ranking Legionary, being recruited from Nostramo to serve aboard the ship Dark Epiphany to do a job best described as 'adequately vicious'. He was privileged to have seen his Primarch fight in the field, but never earned his special regard. Given the orders to go underground and sow confusion, disrupting the Imperium in whatever way suits one best, he took to the mission of clandestine violence and sudden terror with enthusiasm and a certain amount of talent once he'd been shown the way by his superiors, finally coming to consider that perhaps Death was indeed a substitute for Vindication, if one could make enough of it. Night Lords are very, very good at death. His change of heart hit like a lightning bolt when he received the hololithic copy issued to all Night Lords' vessels following the destruction of the Calidus Temple on Uriah 3. Seeing his Father again - even in this debased recording, incomplete, soundless - re-awoke his sense of being VIIIth Legion. He vowed to follow what Curze ordained. Of course, what he interprets this to be may vary from what the Primarch might have said, but Satharn is really trying to do his best. Satharn Tem was born with a natural aptitude for sports, which he used for climbing, breaking, running and later killing. He grew up on Nostramo in a fairly well-off household, but after the family home burned down he took to running with a gang, which got taken over by a bigger gang, and so on ... Satharn was always big enough and strong enough to survive, but lacked the flair for leadership and never really rose to fame. He was picked up by a Night Lords recruitment to make up numbers. He was good, but he wasn't anything special. Just another gangland 'warrior', though one good at crushing the opposition with his bare hands. Time passed, blood spilled and bones cracked and Satharn Tem became a moderately competent Legionary, never quite bad enough for mediocre, never quite good enough for promotion. He accepted this because he felt directionless, content to follow where others led. So long as it led to mayhem and murder. This continued until he found his sense of purpose with the recording and now he knows what he must do. And all doubts must be silenced. Separated on a planet-side mission from the rest of his battle-brothers aboard the Dark Epiphany, Satharn is hunting for news of his ship, but it seems hard to find. And he is practical enough to realise that he needs others to survive for now, others who can better understand just how Chaos can be used. And after all, the Primarch's mission can be followed anywhere. Anything that furthers this cause is useful to the VIIIth. Satharn Tem's skin is an unhealthy pale colour, a Nostramo Tan one might say. His eyes are black, as is his hair which he wears shoulder-length. His armour is well cared for, but battered and old just from use. He has numerous scars, some on his face but none too disfiguring. One wouldn't call him handsome except in a very poor light. He was a tall lad and now he is a tall man, bulked out like a typical Marine but still with two gangland tattoos, one on each arm: a raven eating a heart held in one claw on his left bicep, and a skull with a gaping bullet hole in the forehead on his right. He is deceptively softly spoken, except when he loses his temper. These explosions tend to be sudden, like an onrushing storm. Part of him wants to control these rages; part of him wants them to wash everything away in a tide of blood and glory. Giving in ... feels so good.
Name: Othim Class: Chosen Gender: ASTARTES Warband/Legion/Other Association: Salamanders Regular Equipment: - Main Weapon Power Claymore - Secondary Weapon Combat Shield,Bolt pistol - Accessory Spikes - Armor Mk III - Helm Scale Helm - Special Item Adamatite cloak (Protecting MkIII's rear from attackers) Mutations and/or Chaos God Gifts (Optional): - Rage of Khorne (GIFT),Blademaster(Mutation) - Inspiration list: Khorne little bit of Slaanesh History & Appearance: Once a great Sergeant of the Salamanders, Othim found an armory of the old Salamanders finding his MkIII armor and his cloak their but it was a ruse the enemies of chaos locked them in and killed off his squad one by one after sitting alone and thoughts were voiced into him coverting him to chaos, for what seemed hundreds of years (eating food that were in the armory) think that the Emperor betrayed him letting him live after this the doors opened again by them selves he walked out a new man a man of hatred against all but something welcomed him blood, war, rage he wanted more and more so he hunts and understood what it was like to fight for chaos then he heard 'The Blood flows as does lava, join us we will welcome you with open arms' he followed the voice and met a warband leader a leader that is what he was but isn't any more all he wanted was to fight and know who or what was talking to him in his head who he would later know it was Khrone so blood, blood, blood everything that filled his body was rage but he always talked with a calm voice.
What do you mean 'Chosen'? I mean technically you are an Assault/Raptor..... Also Khornate. And no champion. Championship has to be earned, huzzah! Other than that seems fine.
