Knowing it wasn't his place to try and command another squad he could only look toward the building currently housing fifth squad, hoping they were smart enough and swift enough to not sit there and risk eating whatever kind of firepower that thing was going to put out. Having his own job to do in the meantime Devastator took one look at a very large, juicy target and weighed his options in a matter of precious seconds. Shoot the big ones tended to come up a lot in training in regards to Orks, and there was no denying that goggled mek fit the bill, yet there was also the matter of far more numerous targets that his weapon was perfectly suited to deal with.... no he was an Astartes, the auxilliary could deal with enemy cannon fodder. It was a legionnaire's duty to face that which a normal man couldn't and with proud grin he set his foot up on a busted window, leveled his weapon right at Stiglitz and let loose with everything the weapon had, at last sacrificing a more graceful and fluid stance for something rigid and tight that would keep heavy bolter locked on track to maximize what accuracy could be squeezed out of such a brutish gun. "Fulgrim's finest come for you greenskins! Tremble, charge, scream or shout it matters not, death will take you all the same! " OOC: Going for the gold! DAKKA ON BIG MEK!
"Yes!" Caphen exclaimed in excitement. "None can stand before the chosen of The Illuminator brothers! We are his sword! In his name do we strive for perfection!" The rhino was nearing their attack point and with it the oratory of Caphen rose. "Children of The Emperor! Death to His Foes!" Not usually the zealot Illios felt particularly devoted on this day. Perhaps it was seeing his chance to prove himself after seeing the demise of many Palatine. This was his first opportunity to be seen by The Phoenician, or at the very least by his fellow astartes. They would do well to recognize his skill.
"You cannot do this alone, brother Davian. You should focus your weapon on the infantry to support the Solarians, but very well I shall aid your attempt in taking out their leader." Elijah noted to his Heavy Bolter wielding fellow, while reloading his missile launcher. There was little time to celebrate a single destruction, but he still was proud that his aim was so far flawless. Krak Missile in the tube, the weapon got shouldered and aimed upon the tracks of the mighty tank, 'Munchy'. Once they stopped it moving, then they could worry about it's personnel. From his point of view after all the Orks simply attempted to run the fellow squad over, building and all.
"Bah I don't want an armor kill, I want a head worth cleaning and keeping Brother! Break their leaders and the rest of them devolve into in fighting and retreat is that not what we were told? Just following the order of operations! " Chuckling deeply his heavy bolter consumed most of the sound thanks to his distinct lack of helmet, forced to yell back rather than use internal vox.
"And here I thought our plan was to lure the greenskins out, so that the others could butcher them from the rear, not to make our enemy run in fear, or even push them in their direction, Brother. We must never forget the greater picture of a battle. You may claim a head, but you may indirectly claim the head of a dozen brothers, as well. Do not be selfish." Elijah warned him over vox. <Backside Infiltration - Parking lot 3rd floor> @Kalle @Avenging-Angel @matt23 @EvicusDasan1 @Casavay @Vulpas As the battle began in its earnest, the infiltration team made it to the rear of the parking lot and disembarked from their transports. All nineteen marines were ready for combat and what helped their effort was one of the members from the 8th managing to spot a maintenance ladders that allowed them to climb on the third floor of the building from outside, effectively dodging opposition that lay below (which was probably already spilling outside to help with the Big Mek's attack). Once they climbed the ladder and entered the parking lot itself, they could see a great number of Gretchin manning the weapons nests which the Greenskins built into the parking lot itself, facing outwards and spitting fire on the friendly force outside. The little ones were either too busy enjoying themselves to spot an enemy coming from behind or too crazy to even care, thus allowing the Emperor's Children free reign as Sergeant Callus gave a silent order to proceed and dismantle the enemy gun nests (OOC there's a number of heavy weapons emplacements along the makeshift barricade facing outwards and the Gretchin manning it can't see you. You are free of killing as much Gretchin as you want and destroying as many gun nests as you see fit). But as the Emperor's Children began hacking the enemy from within, a number of heavy footsteps could be heard coming from above and soon after, they saw a gang of Orks with various weapons coming down to check the commotion. The moment they saw them was the moment two sides opened fire. OOC besides dispatching Gretchin, you also have the courtesy of first attack Enemy forces: 3rd Floor: 40 Gretchin & 8 heavy weapons nests (soon to be destroyed); 20 Ork Boys, 3 Nobs (2 with melee weapons and 1 with custom burna) (Elite), 10 Burna boys (Veterans). 4th Floor: ??? Theo Smiled as he saw the gretchin unaware of them. Silently sneaking up on them he pulled out his combat knife and bolt pistol and waited to begin his attack at the same time as his brothers. as soon as the attack begun Theo used the blunt side of his combat knife to smash the gretchin in the closet gun nest and send them and the gun they were manning out into the parking lot. Theo began running seeing the next next nest as he kicked the gretchin out of there gun nest sending one flying and another become a splat on his boot, Kicking the gun out Theo fired his bolt pistol at two more nest and the panicked gretchin taking out one of them and cutting through another. As Theo heard heavy foot steps, he put his combat knife and bolt pistol to his belt and grabbed his bolter and took aim at the orks coming down the stairs aiming the ork with a flamer aiming for its fuel tanks to send him into a fire ball.
Backside Infiltration Hampered by the slight immobilization of his left arm Hadrian wasn't as perfect as hoped. Wielding both bolt pistols the Assault Marine placed accurate shots on stacks of ammunition, blowing them and the disgusting slave-creatures around them into pieces. When the new set of orks appeared a smile made its way onto Hadrian's face as he aimed and fired at one of the so-called 'Burna boys'. Let's see how well they burn!
Arnock cared little for the little worms running about the room. He wanted a test of perfection. Something that put his life on the line. Fulgrim had answered his prayers when a horde of various Orks came down from the floor above. He moved past all the emplacements and leaned forward, activating his jump pack. The jump pack sent him shooting forward into the Nobs. He made very precise cuts at the Nobs' necks.
"You hit the tank, i will keep hitting the artillery positions" Denatus said as he reloaded a new krak missile, waiting for just the right moment in the return fire from the orks to attempt to tkae out another of the right artillery guns, if the orks started to figure our how to really work them, this building would be a bad place to stand in.
