    selina just watched the others loot the bodys "anybody seriously hurt" as she spoke she walked over to them
  2. @dx144 | It was like shooting a mole rat or mirelurk but also somehow different. Rising from behind the column David slowly approached the bodies, sidestepping the mess Old Larux had made, and glanced down at them. They appeared human but the way they were dressed didn't look normal and none of the tunnels he knew of went anywhere but dead ends.
    "Hey Ollie, you ever encountered these 'things' before?"

    As everyone was calming down and checking on each other Oliver heard David call to him, Oliver walked up to the Psycho, David was stood above who had a Nailgun and looked if they had nails that he or David could use incase of future engagements.

    Oliver realised as he walked up this was the one who'd pissed himself. The smell was more intense this close, it was probably the reaction from having his eye shot into and then the second that appeared to go through into the brain that caused it.

    "No, they sound like some kind of man from a Grognak comic but those are just comics... These psychos look freaky. If they aren't native to the Vault then where the hell did they come from. Nothing can live outside, I've seen the Vault-Tec educational holotapes we have lying around if we go outside without eye protection our eyes would burn and there is so much radiation that we'd die within a few days to a week." Oliver was silent for a few seconds before saying quieter.

    "It is impossible for Humans to live out there. Whatever out there isn't Human it can't be."

    Oliver looked down at the Psycho wondering if this was really a Human, his mind couldn't comprehend people from outside the Vault but this was evidence that proved his ideas completely wrong. As Oliver looked at the dead Psycho there was a part of him that wanted this man to feel such terror knowing his crimes had finally caught up with him. Even being near this man caused Oliver to have his blood boil and kicked the dead man's head a couple of times as if it'd follow him into wherever people go when they die.

    "Come one David, grab anything useful from that guy and let's get back to the group. I would but he seems to have pissed himself."

    As Oliver moved back to the group overhearing the talk of wanting to go to the armoury Oliver found himself in agreement.

    "I agree, the Armoury would be a good position to arm ourselves to defend the Vault. Only problem is it isn't really a secret as we have written on the walls 'Armoury' with a arrows pointing to where it is. No doubt these guys are here to take everything they can.
  4. Sure, leave me to search the soggy bastard! Grumbling under his breath David nonetheless began rifling through the dead man's clothing, paying greater attention to what was outside the puddle of urine. At least the nails embedded in his head were reclaimable.

    "You think these dip shits know how to hack a computer terminal?" he said in response to Ollie, "look at them Ollie, they don't have enough brains between the four of them to make up half a person. Especially that one right there. I know that from personal experience."

    He gestured his wrench toward the man he killed himself. He'd be more shaken up by that if he actually cared. He just took what he did with a nonchalance that he had for damn near everything and everyone recently. For him, this was just another day to wait out. He hasn't really lived since his thirty ninth birthday. Ever since then, he's been waiting the year out, for his eventual end. Caving that man's skull in might as well have just been another chore for the day in order to may sure the Vault runs smoothly. That and he had a daughter to look out for. It was the only thing he cared about anymore. Making sure she was okay was top priority for him.

    "They probably tried though, probably had the damn console lock itself down for security reasons. Luckily, Me and Jimbo over there have override codes just in case. We should be more worried about finding more of them still trying to open the Armory. Which is why we need to take this as carefully as possible."

    He walked over toward the 'overseer'. But not before flicking some blood from his wrench at her guard dog security officer (@GoreWrencha). Why? Just for shits and giggles. And just to see if it'd get a reaction out of her. She looked tense for no particular reason to him. Figured he'd lighten the mood a bit.

    "There, you look like you did your job now. You're welcome." he commented to her before turning a piercing gaze at the overseer.

    @lord-watchman

    "Listen, these guys are either mole people, or human people. That means the Vault is compromised. We can't stay here anymore. Who knows how many attacks we'll be able to whether. But if they found a way in, that means there's a way out. We stand a better chance of surviving out there then in here. And I'm only telling you this because for some reason or another these people trust you. They'll listen to you over me. So tell them what I told you and let's get moving out. We head for the armory, stockpile any thing we can and go. Got it?"

    After his little talk to the 'overseer' that could have been seen as overly hostile for no reason -besides a particularly personal one -he went over by Aggy and stood by her. To make sure she wasn't shaken up by all of this. Parental instincts seemed to have kicked into overdrive about now. And it showed through his posture, and body language. His position ever so slightly in front of her, shielding her from any potential whatever's that may bring her harm. Even during what seemed like the calm before the storm.

    Agnes had gotten out of her hiding spot when her father called out to her, and hugged him, heedless of the gore on his body - no, the grey matter and the blood were nothing she was scared of, it was the violence and uncertainty that she could not deal with. "Dad! Thanks!", she cried, holding the old man tight after he'd given her the switchblade.

    The cook was proficient in the use of knives for cutting, not for killing, but it was something in the worst case - a case she'd hoped would never happen. With the attack, or whatever that was, prevented, she took a moment to look around at those still in the cafeteria. "Nobody's hurt, right? It looks like everyone's present?", she asked her father, but loudly enough that everyone in the cafeteria could hear it. "Wait... where's Ms. Lee? I could've sworn she was around! Dad, she didn't get... captured or something, right?"

    "well hopefully security sealed itself with codes so the intruders cant get in, id say we go there and armor up" as she spoke the overseer put her pistol in its holster and looked at the otthers "unless anyone else has a better idea"
  8. @Casavay

    "Lee? Well no, I know no one got captured. It was over before we even knew it." he said, in an attempt at reassuring Agnes. His face was as warm as it could have been when talking to her, unlike the ice cold glare he gave the overseer previously. He was about to call out for Ruby to come out now, but then the overseer piped in with 'her idea'.

    @lord-watchman

    "That sounds like a great idea Miss Overseer. But what should we do after all that? What are we going to do about being invaded 'overseer'? Should we just camp out in the Armory and hope everything goes away?" he said with his arms folded and a twinge of sarcasm present in his voice. His hostility was not exactly subtle, and it probably wasn't necessary or wanted.

    But he didn't care.

    "no im more of wanting more ammo in case there are more of these things" as she spoke she look straight at him "im in the proces of coming up with an idea of fortifying the entrance and looking for the others"

    "Fortify the..." his expression shifted to one of visible frustration, "Open your eyes! You think fortifying the Vault is going to keep us all safe? So we fortify for the entrance, then what?!? Wait for the next attack come? Are we just going to holdout here till we all die?! What if the next attack is worse. What if more come?What if they bring actual weapons?! What if there's something worse out there just waiting to come in here and tear us all to shreds! I am not waiting in some god forsaken vault just waiting for the end too come to us! Not when we know out there can support human life."

    He scoffed at the 'overseer'. Fortifying the entrance she says. Like they're going to do any better at sealing a door they never thought would ever open. Born in the Vault, die in the Vault. They had a chance to not die in the Vault this time. What was keeping the 'overseer' from seeing that?

    "These...'things'we call them. They're people. They're human. Like you. Like me. Like everyone in the Vault. They certainly look and act differently but they're still human! The Vault is not worth saving. We are. We all are. We can round up everyone else who is still alive. Clear out these invaders. And we go, together. We leave before anybody has a chance to come back here and kill all of us. Your fear is not going to get Agnes killed like it did my wife!"
