They might just go the way of Relic and introduce their own warboss. If it is received well enough by fans, GW will make that boss canon.
Im not really sure on the whole warboss thing because they said that players would pick the leaders they want for the race or for the waaaaagh so we will more likely have more warbosses then just 1.
Well, in the ork faction description, there is a sentence pronounced by, i suppose, the warboss. Can anybody confront it with the speech of some other warbosses, to see if it fits?
Maybe the leaders are the people who answer to NOBODY but the warboss himself, and even still, those orks command a LOT of troops...
I like this idea. From a fluffy perspective, even by drawing leaders from the strongest fighters, the top Orks wouldn't be able to work together unless they answered to one single Warboss (or other powerful Ork). I expect the other factions will recieve the same, such as an Inquisitor-Lord for the Space Marines and a Chaos Lord accepted by all Gods (like Abaddon). I think that the Eldar are the only group that could work together for a prolonged period of time without any figurehead needed. Regardless, I hope this Warboss is one of Eternal Crusade's own design. The Galaxy is too vast to have to reuse other characters, and I'd like Behaviour to put their own stamp on the universe.
Are you telling me that Abaddon is a sorcerer? The Last Time i Heard of him, he wasnt one..... Strange Things Must Happen in the warp.....
