Well we can't exacly know that before the game's out, but I reckon they wouldn't do it on purpose, which I guess is a plus.
Well, i think that FreetoWAAAGH boys will be weaker just because of their limited equipment, not because of lower stats. In lore, one space marine can face many greenskins thanks to his advanced equipment and skills. However, he is also helped by the fact most of those greenskins are badly equipped, with not much experience. That can be easily represented ingame by the players who will choose this free option. The buyer ork players will have access to more "sofistikkat'd" gears, so that they will look more dangerous. In fact, do you think that a space marine would dare to face head on a fully armed MAN? ... unless he's a ultra smurf protected by Matt Ward's will, i guess...
ya there load out will be kinda limited but the DMG they deal will be the same one as their big bros do with the same weapon boys might even have less HP cause they may have a smaller hit box at least when all premium players are nobs
As one of the very early posts said: Make ork-models slightly weaker than other models but give them an aura that increases their stats when they form a mob. And who gets to lead a mob? Easy: - Give each Ork a "Boss"-stat. - Ork-players can fight each other in an arena-mode. Winner gets Boss-stat slightly increased, Loser gets Boss-stat massively decreased.
i don't see why we need a boss there will be squad and strikeforce leaders who will lead their group and form the mobs if needed I hope they don't make a simple mechanic like "more orks = stronger orks" that wouldn't make a waaaagh justice they should need to form the Waaagh like it is formed in the lore lots of shooting shouting and noising
No. Nonono. No unique system for each faction, no "let's make balance like it was a strategy game". This is a motherzogging MMO TPS, and it will play like one, and not like a strategy game with live pawns. As already defined, Orks are similar to other factions, and to each other - A FreeToWAAAGH player will have just as much health as a normal Ork player, but won't have the same gear, just as an Ork will be equal to a Space Marine overall. On top of that, Nobs and Bosses have been confirmed to be Elites and/or Heroes.
well not that hard we could make a simple bar which appears when a certain number of orks are near to each other the bar must be filled to activate the waaagh effect for the group the bigger the group the more waaaaghenergy must be collected waaaaghenergy is generated by shooting on an enemy, warcrying while aiming on an enemy, taking/dealing dmg and maybe some other things the energy will decay so you shouldnt stop filling the energy when the energy has reached a certain limit the waaaagh starts and stays for 30 or 60 sec and will continue as long as enemies get killed, each killed enemy will expand the time for a certain amount (maybe 3 sec) the waaagheffect has a special effect to each class melee classes without jumppacks will get a dmg sponge shield while charging stormboys might get an extraeffect to deepstriking shootaboys could get the dakka effect doubled which wouldnt let them consum ammo on a random chance each time when shooting and what ever would suit an ork class
I luv you I gotta agree with you as always my friend, They need to make the orks unqiue and 100% different from the other classes from having an ork only trait that makes them the orks, from RNG effects to WAAAGH energy to other orky things. These needs to happen as i is an Ork player by heart <3
