Scavenging Brick was far quieter than normal while he marched alongside Bruce, he wasn't talkative to begin with but the air around him could swallow up an entire battle field's worth of sound it seemed. Lifting his hand he pointed toward a burnt out restaurant called 'Papa Moe's', "Good place right there, store owner usually kept fresh ingredients, expensive but worth it. Might have some stuff left that hasn't completely rotted. "
Revenge of the Store Part II -Breaking from the outpost at the crack of dawn, Jonah leads his teammate along a winding route which avoids majority of the wider thoroughfares and buildings. After almost three hours of stealth, they reach the store as Jonah had left it and it seemed no worst for wear. Checking to see if any of the undead or other humans were around, Jonah motioned that they should break in. Moving towards the flak boarded entrance way, Jonah uses his shovel to pry off the boards ever so quietly until the doorway is clear.- -With their path unimpeded, the pair quickly move inside and sweep the interior for any contacts. Finding the place slightly picked over but with a few items inside, they quickly begin to grab anything that will help their survival. As Jonah is about to call it a day, he notices a doorway at the rear of the building which most likely leads to the second floor or basement, motioning that his buddy (Kenny) take up position, he slowly opens the door and shines his torch into the darkness. Seeing nothing except a spiraling stairwell into the blank murkiness below, he gestures that Kenny watch his back while he investigates. With one gun up and the torch in the opposite hand, Jonah slowly makes his way down to see if there's anything of worth hiding in the basement.- OOC: Awaiting GM to see what items we found and whether or not if the basement IS A TRAP!

Donavan followed the others wordlessly, just looking in front of him not even taking notice of any of the undead in the distance. He really had believed it, somewhere deep down he had thought that it was all a dream or that the imperium was still out there somewhere. Lenora was dead, Otis was dead, Becka was dead, Jen was dead. Most of them had either hated him or at least loathed him, except for Lenora, his sweet naive secretary. She had really believed that this wasn't true, she always said that the imperium would sweep back and save them, that the Emperor's own angels of death would come down, set everything right again and leave them to act as if nothing had happened. Even so she realized before him that that wasn't true, Lenora had fired at the looters while he had just taken cover and started crying, forgetting entirely about the revolver in his jacket. When they had reached the outpost, Donavan merely mumbled something about watching the door, taking the handgun out of it's holster and sitting down next to the door.
Jackie began keeping look out and ready with any medical equitment incase they got more injured coming in.
Nodding, Bruce moved along, watching their tail lest they be taken unawares from behind. The pair reached the store, taking a moment to see if anything was inside. The store's windows were long since destroyed, and the door lay on the floor. The basement was dark and bleak. The air inside was heavy and still, it smelled of damp. Moving in, Jonah accidentally bumped in to a shelf, which fell forward with a mighty racket. There was a sound, quiet at first, the dragging of chains. It drew nearer, and nearer to him. He could hear the trademark sounds of the undead. He wasn't alone, there was something else down there. B6/7/8/9. The areas immediately outside of the base. Andreas looked towards Rex and Buzzsaw. "I guess we just shoot and kill? Upon either running out of ammo or them getting to close running for east?"
