-Coming around after his unconsciousness, Jonah was surprised to be staring up at a different ceiling. At first he thought maybe his efforts had been in vain and that he had been captured but as he moved his limbs, he found himself unbounded meaning something even worst had happened. Slowly easing himself up on aching limbs, Jonah took stock of his injuries and then the room itself. Being alone for the moment, he began to check for his pistol and found that it was missing....most likely dropped when he was sent flying across the room. Looking around he eyed his shovel, cleaned and folded on a table nearby and he began to limp towards it. Re-arming himself, Jonah decided to slowly walk around to familiarize himself with the layout and soon ran into a couple of the other survivors. Ignoring them as he continued his rounds, he made it to the second floor and was able to see that they had moved to some type of military installation. Seeing a few of the others up here, he moved to the closest one and asked softly what had happened.- "Alexis dear....how long have we been here. I'm afraid I have lost track of events in my induced loss of consciousness. Where are the others? I don't see as many as there should be...." -His voice begins to get softer and softer as realization dawns on him and that his efforts hadn't been enough to save them all. Reacting in a violent explosion of energy, he slams his bandaged hand into the nearby support making his wounds open back up but ignoring the pain. He continues to stand there for several moments before collapsing downwards into an awkward position as he attempts to regain his composure.-
''Alright, thanks guys.'' ''A few hours,'' she said, looking down at the man in his bed. The survivors had moved Jonah upstairs, in to one of the old barrack rooms, where beds were aplenty. Alexis was looking out of the window, tracking any potential trouble coming their way. -After what seemed to be a few minutes, Jonah began to set himself up and asked where the weapons had been stored, hoping to find his lost pistol since they would of grabbed any useful items on their way out. Moving towards the makeshift cache, Jonah finds his pistol, still caked in dust and shoves it back into his holster. Looking at the other items, he decides to grab a few more items in preparation of going out as soon as the morning breaks over the base.- OOC: What's the list of items we currently have in cache?
''Whoa,'' Alexis said. ''You need rest. You took a nasty tumble back there.'' Seeing him ignore her and get up anyway, she led him to the cache. At least if he was armed he might be useful, since he refused to rest. Bruce saw Jonah had recovered and approached him. ''We're going out tomorrow. Two groups, one to clear the nearby undead and one to searched the houses on this street. You're a good fighter, but your head's been in the wrong place. This is a team game, now. Help us tomorrow,'' he asked of Jonah. OOC: They're listed in the weapon and item pages, under the ''survivor inventory'' column. It'd be quite a time consumer to copy over because it copies the formatting of the cells here, then botches it all up because it dislikes having tables, it's easier to just go look there ^^
-Grabbing a Handcannon out of the pile and two magazines of ammunition, he holsters it into the spare chest rig across his clothing and turns to Bruce.- "How many died? I need to know...it will put me at peace to know how many were released from their bondage to this world and are now with the Emperor. (Filler content here) I'll head out back into the city tomorrow, we can finally check out that store I had scoped out on the first day and hopefully find something useful. However, I don't think it would be wise that more than three of us go to that location due to the horde that was in the area....a large group would be detected but three people should be small enough to sneak past in the event they are still there."

Rex stored the medkits in a secure corner of the PDF base, a place where he could reach them easily in an emergency. He packed on a new surgical kit before taking time to mention to Jackie just where they were, he headed up to Bruce. "Hey, I'll go out with Andreas tomorrow to clear the front. I may need..", he gestured to the stub pistol, "Something heavier, if we managed to recover anything." It was odd for him to choose to go with Andreas, a prickly personality if there ever was one. At least if he dies on my watch, I won't spend much time mourning over it.
