    Kaireth I - The streets.

    Yriel looked at the masses, surveying her handiwork with glee from the elevated position a toppled transporter provided. Sitting atop the massive thing, her legs swaying two metres above the heads of the people she'd mobilized.
    Heh. Her boot on their faces, skull crushing, slowly giving in as the grey matter squished and ran out in a shower of blood around her sole. A negative rain; a fountain erupting as the final scream of the unworthy victim, crying out for their dead god, was silenced mercilessly.
    "Crunch, hehe."
    To the casual onlooker, it was as if the young woman simply moved her feet.
    "Crunch goes a skull when I kick it, crunch goes the bone when I crush it, crunch goes the animal I step on and crunch goes the unenlightened, I'd bet on... that."
    The rest of her happy, pleased song was slowly subsiding into humming. It was true; she was pleased to have pleased the Master and Master of Master. In fact, she was pleased like she had never been before. But her work wasn't done yet. Didn't mean she didn't enjoy this brief resp-

    "Yriel, how goes the arming of the masses?"

    With a panicked and drawn out shriek, she jumped up the transport, flinching into a defensive position before dropping to her knees, eyes shut tightly, hands over her ears, emitting a fearful squaling noise from her throat.
    She remained as such for a second before climbing onto her feet again, smiling brightly. "Master! Yes! All of the masses have arms, and many are using them to clutch those instruments of war I gave them!" The woman was still shaking, but clearly happy about the surprise jump scare being one of Arani's making.
    A bit crestfallen, she added "Some are giving theirs to others though. And... and some are using them to drive! DRIVE! And others, others don't have two arms! Well, a few have more and most have two, but some have only one! Or none! Look at that human larva! It has puny arms! I... need to give it better arms."

    She was just about to leap off the transport, onto a mother holding a babe, but another powerful sensation stopped the woman. Looking over her shoulder wondering, she had expected Arani to teleport away, but suddenly there was-

    She shrieked again, this time louder, and almost fell off the truck postrating herself. "Ma- ma--- Master's Master!", Yriel finally brought out.

    "Yriel." He replied, approaching her slowly, she could have sworn he had a smile under a mask, his psychic signature giving off happiness. Regards her or something else, incapable of telling. The huge statue of a demigod laid his cold gauntlet on her cheek, stroking gently over her daemonic scar, she could feel his power running through it, straight into her soul.

    "Would you like to travel the stars with Arani and me? See the wonders of life and terrors of death? To observe the birth and death of stars? To see how change is the true way about things and learn why things never can be the same?" His voice was soft, one of an angel, yet she could see the blue fire deep within his soul, as he touched her soul, so did she touched his, communicating on a new level she has not experienced, she could feel his emotions, just like he could hers.

    <Kaireth I-Governor's Palace-Trella Makerious>
    After her timely intervention, Trella had merely been waiting in her comfortable potion and observing the Chaos Space Marines in the room until their leaders had left the place via some form of Warp sorcery, with one of them carrying a book taken from what she'd assume to be the Governor's Private Rooms. Seeing as the Chaos Space Marines said that they would stay to fight off the Tyranids, Trella would assume that they had gone somewhere on the planet.

    So she finally vacated her sniper position, in favour of finding those Marines which meant finding a place on the streets so that she could observe the general population and see if things were still fairly normal, or gone completely wrong like rioting in the streets...... And try finding the Marines

    <Kaireth I-Streets-Church Spire-Trella Makerious>
    And it turned out that everything hadn't gone completely wrong, as from her new perch on a tall church spire Trella could see that the populace were being armed by someone, and a peek through her rifle's scope showed that the Marines, and a follower they must have recruited were responsible for that endeavour.

    She would stay in the background while supporting the Marines, as they didn't seem to know where she was.... Despite the fact her perch left her very exposed to the elements, therefore if anyone looked up to her perch, they would see her plain as day. She could only hope that she wouldn't be shot at, or worse if she was seen by anyone.

    "Of... of course, Master's Master! I would gladly travel with you!", the whelp said to the Master, looking up. She was ecstatic, his own pleasedness washing over her, showering her with praise like no word, no gesture could. It fulfilled her, invalidated her entire being.
    As he caressed her face, the woman felt alive like rarely before, and for just one perfect moment, time seemed to stand still as she touched his emotions, felt them, like strands of feeling in a network, these shining brighter than any, even those of Arani. She couldn't help but grab them, try to hold them, to add them to her own in perfect union.

    In realspace, as she awakened, she had grabbed his gauntlet and pressed the open palm to her face.

    He caressed her slightly further while nodding. "You are a wise child, my young lady." Lykus let his hand slowly go away from her face, turning around to Arani. "We are leaving. We got the book, so nothing holds us here any longer. But we shall not go without leaving our gifts behind. Start the Rift of Warp. Sacrifice as many as you need to open a portal straight to Prospero!"

    Lykus turned back to Yriel. "While Arani does his work, how about I tutor you a bit privately? I hope you like your equipment that you picked?"

  6. KAIRETH 2 - Space
    The Broodmother was pleased. After she had litterally snapped the ork boss in two had the orks faltered. They had died in mass as the tyranids charged over them. Nothing protected that world anymore. She had walked to the closest digestion pool and had let herself get digested and her conciousness put in a new body. The ships was on their way towards the last planet. The hivmind didn't sense so much fauna... but it was clear that there where prey there.

    KAIRETH 1 - Planet surface
    The psykers of the world would feel it approaching. The hive fleet was on its way and the shadows where already enveloping them. The psykik might of the hive mind smootheriing the psykik abbilities of most of the psykers in the regiments. Even the chaos sorcerers would feel it "tightenign" aroudn their powers.

    "The Shadow is closing down, I see. Arani. Make a bit faster pace, since I doubt our Naval friends in space will hold out long." Lykus said almost undisturbed and turned back to Yriel, awaiting her reply.

    "O-of course! I, I liked it so much I dropped it! Oh no! I dropped... it. Please, forgive me, Master."
    She enjoyed the feeling being close to Master's Master gave her, but as broken as her mind was, Yriel was terribly aware of the consequence of failure in the Master's eyes. The woman did not dare to stand up, or even look at Lykus, lest she incur his wrath even further.

    "If you would still have me, Master's Master, I would gladly be tutored by you in seclusion."
