    2.1 Character Name
2.2 Current Age (given it's a Scout short before full battle-brother time should be around 50-100)
2.3 Most likely to become (choose 1 of these: Tactical, Assault, Devastator, Techmarine, Apothecary, Librarian, Chaplain) [this will determine your basic route what happens once you are out of scouthood]

    Relationships & Reputation:
Imperial Guard are our best friends within the Imperium
Every Imperialist has his/her own value in our eyes (open mind - depends from case to case)
We Read the Codex.... Once... (Salamanders; adherent only to certain features)
Imperial Fists are our serious rivals! We gotta be better than them, waaagh!
Carcharodons (aka Space Sharks) are our best buddies!
Iron Hands relation: HATRED TO THE DEATH (kinda)!
We are to the other Raven Guard successors as close as to Heresy Times; Every Child of Corvus Corax is our Bro!
    Frienemy Chapter: Flesh Tearers
    Arch-Nemesis: Heretics & Daemons
Dead Astartes are remembered via inscription on a huge list
We treat the Enemy by only communicating once our troops are in position, give them one chance to repent or retreat, then blast our way in with arm-meltas if they don't.

Greatest Heroes are (from most significant to less significant):
A Dreadnought guy; could be still serving chapter (Mr. Legendary Dreadnought is alive; ~8000 years old)
    The First Chapter Master
A Master of the Fleet/Forge; could be still serving chapter
An Assault Marine (Captain); could be still serving chapter
An Assault Marine (non-captain); could be still serving chapter
An Apothecary (Regular or Master of the Apothecarion); could be still serving chapter
A Librarian (Epistolary or Chief Librarian); could be still serving chapter

Significant Campaigns / Battles (more significant ones at top)
Black Crusades - we participated in 7 (1,3,5,7,11,12,13); never full chapter deployment (3 companies atm at 13th)

Battle of Gate Forty-Two & Istvaan V; before/during Heresy, a good chunk of our first members were survivors of both battles

Third War of Armageddon; 1 Company Deployment

Dark Marches Crusade (we helped with three companies to retake an entirety of thirty worlds)

Children's Crusade (we helped with our First Company to purge all resurfaced mutants)

Macharian Crusade (Participation in Zaga IV; failed to conquer Adrantis Five before Macharius resorted to a comet strike)

Orphean War (We lost an entire company here, having reduced our numbers from 800 to the current 700; currently no other troops there, save for non-astartes and a frigate of ours)

Special Festivities (from most meaningful to less meaningful):
Secret Gift - Once a year, each Astartes draws a name of another Astartes. The trick is not to give them gifts, but also to be unseen while doing so. If one is spotted placing his gift, he must repent with whatever the initial target tells him to do. (This trains stealth! MWHAHAHAHA)

Day of <Dreadnought Hero Name> - The greatest hero of our chapter is being celebrated for his awesome deeds!

Memories of the Dark Times - Once in a decade, the fallen are remembered and each name is lit in the halls of the lost. They may have died, but they are never forgotten.

Rite of Bond - Once a century we visit the Carcharodons to refresh our close friendship. Tales of Battles are told and sung and at the end of the celebration a ceremonial duel between the Chapter Masters that has to - as per tradition - to end in a draw.

Day of Corvus Corax - Like the Imperium celebrates Sanguinius, so do we celebrate Corax. Feasting in his name and that he may return to us.

    Chapter Colors:
Player Suggestion #1 (as per @Xaphen - here)

Darkest Hour / Worst Events (Top = Worst Event)
Horrible Horrible loss during a campaign
We had to kill a traitor in our own ranks
We had to destroy another chapter

I assume we can start tomorrow, latest Tuesday. So far prepared:

    - Chapter Population
    - Chapter HQ & Contact Names
    - Reputation
    - Most Important Goods (Power Armor, Gene-Seed, Money, etc.)
    - Chapter Fleet Outline (the amount & type of ships are in there; names missing)

    Also FYI:
Seargents, Captains, Apothecary, Chaplains and Techmarines are not counted in Chapter numbers, because:

#1 - Seargents & Captains are part of the numbers that are given; i.e. if there are 100 assaults in a company then 9 of them are Seargents and 1 of them is a captain; so logically they are 100 Astartes, not 109.

#2 - I want to keep it simple and therefor just count the specialist units separate. The Chapter strength effectively will be measured by companies and their status.

    Still To Do:
    - Space Marine Stats (CM, HQ + All other Marines)
    - Map / List of current deployments & positions
    - Name Assignment
    - Formatting

Here is the sheet link again so you can effectively track progress and also give me feedback:

    !Update!

Finalization seems realistic for tomorrow.... See google sheet for progress. Also I decided to count Librarians, Chaplains, etc. But I just say I decided your start marines to exclude them and that you get 1 of each per Company + HQ (Master of The forge, etc.)

    So you had 700 Astartes = 7 companies => 8 Techmarines, 8 Chaplains, 8 Librarians, 8 Apothecaries.

Next is Equipment and the Chapter Master. Naming so far is done.

Do the 700 Astartes include the Player-Marines? Do we end up with 700+8+8+8+8 or with 700+8+8+8+8+number of players, who play their own character?

Edit: Figured it out by myself: the player-marines are part of the 100 Scouts. I should have looked into the documents earlier.
  10. Uriel1339 Uriel1339 Lord of Posts

the 700 include the player astartes.

You end up with 700 +8+8+8+8 plus number of dreadnoughts that have to be yet determined. (I will roll dice) But I will list Dreadnoughts under armory since technically they are vehicles.
