"They know the Science of War, but no the Art" "I've come to dance the dance of death" "There is no art more beautifull and Diverse then the Art of death" Combat is an art for the Eldar mind. they follow a path to not get distracted in other things and potentially invite damnation to their craft world. The Eldar mind is also way too complex to understand and many thoughts rush true their brain, so going from point A to B just running is to simple and boring. They love to show of how much better they are at everything.
Loved the flip, but doesn't fit the FD. I could see Banshees doing it, maybe DAs, but definitely Harlequins when they come out. For those saying the flip doesn't make sense for Eldar, it definitely does for Harlequins. They fight by dancing and wear special anti-grav belts that let them flip and jump around on the battlefield.
all the eldar classes are aspect warriors (or warlock) so have sense that they talk about war/death in extreme focus/obsession they are not simple eldars.
Harlequins are the only exception to what I said, but I highly doubt they're going to be added to the game. Outside of that, I still don't see it being used by any aspect warrior.
It can, but if everything else inside the movie, comic, anime (or in this case game) takes itself seriously, then once it does something silly, it feels out of place. If I was watching LOTR, and a bunch of elves just started doing flips over things, it would be out of place. Hell, even in the last hobbit movie (which godawful and just talking about it makes it feel like I'm being corrupted by nurgle) when the dwarves make a line against the orcs, and then the elves come up from behind them, they weren't doing flips. Don't get me wrong, I love things that have a good balance between dumb and cool, but that flip just looks really out of place. Have I worn that out yet?
it actually is kinda practical, in game i often use the time when enemies are climbing over stuff to get a ton of headshots. cause in the space marine animation is slow and the head stays mostly in one place. here? yeah im not getting a head shot
