The pts are divvied up out of a 60 pt total excluding those allocated to W. Untrained is 0-4 Novice 5-6 Adept 7-10 Experienced 11+ Granted, this is for starting characters. Progression will reset that matrix to a much broader frame but this is in terms of scaling between NPCs and the character.
I've added 9 arrow types so far and will be adding a few more plus bolts and a few "grenades" which can be equipped for any ranged users. Note javelins and the like are excluded as they also double as melee weapons. Because it's hard to gauge accuracy with how many could be held in a quiver outside of guesstimating off diagrams and historical averages, there is prone to be some discrepancy with how many can be equipped. Any quiver equipped is automatically included in the weight of any arrows at maximum load (around .01 kg). Yes I know Fire and Whistle Arrows were technically Chinese and Japanese technologies that never made it to Europe but there are accounts of similar unnamed technologies so TROLOLOLOLOLOL!
Since the final details are running smoothly, I'll move up the time table for RP start to Wednesday evening. Remember to make final checks on your wargear, beseech to God to aid you in your struggles, and if you happen to wake up with black spots...BURN YOURSELF! As a reminder to how combat was dealt with back in the time period, you do not always need to kill your opponent(s) so much as force them to surrender. Most people valued their lives and the more senior ranking or if they are of noble birth (knights), they are very much more willing to pay a ransom than die. Grenades aren't finished yet as are hard round case shot for gunpowder weaponry. Don't worry, you won't be able to equip them yet anyway.
Fuck yeah horrible plague and a war that took over a century to end! This is gonna be great until we all die from plague or our wounds!
