"I can die, ONLY TO BE REBORN ANEW!" The Daemon shrieked as he threw himself at the Orks who were getting through the gaps behind their line.

"BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" he roared as he hit left and right, Ork bodies exploding when connected with the power field of his great Thunder Hammer. "SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"

The Orks were many and the Red Corsairs were few, but it meant nothing. The Dark Gods were on their side, and soon, the Greenskins will know the meaning of fear.

Atlas was unloading clips into the ork wave as he began casting chains of torment on the orks infront of udius stopping most of them in there tracks. Atlas quickly grabbed his force sword as a ork jumped at him. He barley blocked the hit as several more came near he punched the ork in the face and backed away. Atlas quickly reloaded his bolter putting fresh bolter rounds inside his bolter he fired as several more got into almost blank range. Atlas quickly began summoning warp fire in his hand as he felt his burned hand pain intesfied. He roared as he threw it killing the orks that where infront of him. He raised his bolter again and began firing while fighting the burning pain in his left hand.

As the Orks begin piling through the door Guilliman's heavy bolter starts to roar. Spitting red-hot tracers, the servitor's weapon blows chunks out of greenskin skulls and seperates limbs from torsos. As the charge against the door begins to falter, the orks begin breaking the line in other places and Alviss joins in.

Holding his axe in a two handed grip, the former Space Wolf tears into the brutish xenos in close range. The mechanical strength in his bionic arms drives the axe back and forth through the greenskins like they were made of paper.

Caught up in the fury of the close-quarters slaughter he joins the Daemons cry. "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"

Lord Vandias peppered the doorway with botler fire of his own.

They Orks were many, but so were his bolter shells. As several tried to mass through at once, he periodically allowed bursts of flame from his flamer attachment.

"Maggot-Kin secure the flanks! " Orghast called out to his retinue, each one knowing full well what to do. Facing the danger of being overrun demanded the use of their Blight Grenades; a single cylinder flying from within to erupt around the base, only the main door where the their own fighters were was spared the clouds of gas. Well over a dozen Orks died choking on their own defiled blood or collapsing as their straining muscles snapped brittle bone and lesion riddled flesh leaving them to be trampled by those that followed blindly into the deadly mist. Maggots began to writhe from every open orifice in those who had been felled inside the building, a continuous stream of hungry flies adding to the living black wall outside the ritual building. Let them scream their praises to Khorne Slaanesh or Tzeentch, Nurgle only needed the death of the Greenskins and the droning buzz of carrion flies.

OOC: Good that the Lord ain't give a ETA on daemon summoning like kindly asked by Udius :p

Udius growled as he had to holster his Autocannon and pull his Power Sword and Bolt Pistol. "Stay at range, take cover and don't you dare to die, because I am not done with you yet!" He odered Byrn who simply nodded in reply and kept his shots up.

The Havoc, now with melee equipment, stepped right into the opening as the flood got too close, not daring to let a single one in. The Son of Guilliman brought the Ultramarine's blade down upon a Slugga Boy, not just slicing him in half but his weapon right along.

The Sword swung to the right, to the left, stabbed, circled, Bolt Pistol shots rang through the air. The Slaughter seemed to find no end - This was not the duty of an Astartes, yet it made him feel in the right place. To kill was a task, not his duty though.

Because the duty of an every Astartes, no matter which chapter you might belong to and if it's one of the brute Space Wolves, White Scars or the damned fallen Angels of Sanguinius and all their Successors, they knew that there was a duty and a purpose - Not just blind killing. For that was a task of the Necrontyr, the Orks and the Tyranids. They were the blind murderers without a greater purpose, but the Astartes?

No. Only those stupid enough who have fallen to Khorne would think that murder and bloodshed is their purpose - But they did not count anyway for they were part of the Unclean and Mutants, the moment someone gives himself to a Chaos God, they were no Astartes anymore.

Karg-zar stood at the forefront, fighting the never ending flood of Ork bodies that threatened to crash into him. They stabbed, kicked, shouted, cursed, and what is the most important - they died. And they did it in droves.

"Keep on killing them! It will speed up the ritual!" the Daemon shouted over the noise of battle, swinging his hammer around and cleaving through the Greenskins. They fell around him, and he roared. The Blood needs to keep on flowing.

With everyone else seemingly set on the slaughter at the main gates the Plague Marines were left filling in the gaps, one of Nurgle's blessed holding the other three walls whenever the Orks pushed through the clouds of blighted mist and ravenous plague flies.

Orghast crouched beneath two windows and simply waited in ambush, allowing the entrances to appear empty of guards only to rise up and promptly slice open the throats of those who pushed through, shoving them back out to disrupt the green tide and keep them mired up in the layers of deadly filth his Maggot Kin had erected with their grenades and his swarm. Such was the thickness of his cloud the Orks weren't even made aware that their slayer was sitting right between the entrances.

Kordius was dealing with the other window in similiar fashion, but rather than push out he drug the corpses in so they too would serve as food and hatcheries for their Sergeant's blessed daemon flies. The tide came on a bit thicker in response and he was quickly pressed into full on melee combat, stabbing once and forgetting, those Orks that didn't die immediately were able to surround him but they fell shortly to the myriad number of virulent infections and toxins that bred upon his knife.

Gelon was dealing with a breach in the wall toward the back, several Stikkbombs and a volley of Rokkits had torn out a sizable chunk of his chosen wall, the breach being filled with torrents of explosive heavy bolter fire and Greenskin bodies. Pulling the pin on his last Blight Grenade Gelon threw himself directly into the path of his foes, plugging the hole in the wall with his body and yet another cloud of toxic mist. "Final grenade used. " "Down to one here myself. " Kordius replied. "Empty on my end as well brother." Orghast slammed his head into a nob, their foreheads locked against each other, his powerclap snapped violently toward Orghast and scissored off his left arm at the elbow. Bloodshot eyes widening Orghast violently jammed his knife up into the Nobs jaw, piercing his brain finishing the job as the technically dead warrior swung his weapons about wildly as a nerve reaction. Orghast kicked him back out a window while jamming his knife's handle into the stub limb. "Such weak flesh...such perfect fertile grounds for his glorious blessings..."

''Gah!. How long, apostle?!'' Vandias yelled.

''S-soon,'' the dark apostle gasped, as the concentration to make the summoning drained him.

A small purple vortex, a tear to the other realm had begun to appear. Now the apostle had to rip it open, and the daemon warriors could pour forth.

''Just a little longer,'' Vandias relayed over his vox, to all the men there.

    ''Boss, dey's tough.''

''Yea..but dey's not da Orks. Get da Deff Dread down der! Get da shiny gitz down der. GET EVERYTHIN DOWN DER!''

Udius growled. The Daemon powers were always so unreliable! He took a step backwards and let the Stormboy that rushed on him hit the air, stabbing the Power sword in it's neck, killing it. The havoc kicked the corpse from his sword and into the bunch of Orks behind, causing them to fall.

Byrn saw it and threw a grenade into the midst, damaging them all. Udius smiled as they were killed by the explosion and even more hurt by the fragments that crushed into the surrounding Orks.

With the Bolt Pistol he took six shots, two per head, killing three more Orks before a Stormboy-Nob engaged him. A somewhat worthy foe, as he at least knew how to parry the attacks of Udius. But also he did not last five blows before losing both arms and then get a bullet straight into his skull.
