  1. Wata Wata Arkhona Vanguard

    Serpent looked at his watch to see how much time he had. Noticing that visit to the tailor took longer than he anticipated he started to a brisk walk, texting the seller that he was on his way and apologizing for any delay.
    Pedestrians quickly gave way for a giant lizard who seemed to be in a hurry.
  2. Hallow looks over the things, stroking her chin as she nods a bit
    "Mhmm... I see... I see."
    She isn't really dissapointed, as she hadn't expected much to start with. But she could deffinetly see where they needed to improve. She reached out, cracking her knuckles a bit, the two glaives on her hips clinging a bit as she looks at the group calmly.
    "Alright. I will admit, when I came here I half assumed you all would just be a small group of thugs using pocket knives and simple pistols... but you do seem to have potential. I will enjoy molding this gang into a good force"
    She giggles behind her pumpkin.
    "So... Lets talk buissnes"

    Mystic smiles at Morph, wearing her more "casual" dress at the moment and her mask showing her mouth. She nods calmly.
    "Don't worry. I know you feel uncomfortable around me sometime. I am just doing what I see as best."
    She walks out into the hallway, giving morph a slight uncomfortable hug, before holding him for a second, meaning for him to stay a short moment
    "By the way... I need to talk to that agent of yours. Elly was her name? Also... David at the station just "burrowed" your favorite pen. He don't seem to intend on returning it anytime soon"

    Phoenix was of the opinion that two could play at the strange language game, and as she attempted to make her Hellfire brighter while she switched to the Demonic tongue, a harsh, guttural sound that was meant to be rather intimating to the untrained ear. Even if what she really was asking the person in front of her was: "Who the hell are you, and what do you want with me?"

    Sure, it was pretty impressive how they had taken out that creature, but that didn't explain if they were friendly or hostile and frankly she though she was better with them in fear of her than having a very hard discussion where neither side understood each other. And well, failing that she can always actually carry out some random acts of violence until they got the hint and went away from her.

    Mimic was swept up in the charging pack of large wolves. The fact that he wasn't killed outright was a relief. He didn't make any sudden moves but just stayed on for the ride wondering both where he was and how he got there. He was tempted to mimic the wolves that were currently carrying him away but thought the sudden change could cause them to kill him.

    Lazarus was somewhat amazed at the response he got, Well that confirms to me gods are real, He thought to himself in his head, "So this druid do you know anything about him? what he can do or know what he could have stolen to cause these vengeful spirits to attack the forest?" Lazarus asked still somewhat stunned at where he was and the fact he was asking a god and doing something for one.

    Pleased with the results of their larceny, the arachnid Colony set off to leave the mall for good. They planned to reform Samsa in a nearby alley, and get back to their lair with this newly-acquired dress. Hopefully it would impress suitably, what with the hassle that its achieving entailed.

    "I take the job, considering it pays well. It might be that my current employer will cease to require my services, so I better get a foot in the door." And it would be great for getting more information about the persons he was assigned to convince to join sides. "Will there be any aquaintances of yours on the job? Guard duty gets rather dull alone.
    He shrugged his shoulders. "How shall I contact you? Just walking to this house and knocking? Furthermore I am not sure, if you told me your name."
    Gabriel made a mental checklist. He still needed more information about what he was dealing with. A way to convince Vasco that he had not switched sides was also necessary. Sadly he had not many leads to follow, but at least he was still alive. It seemed also that the woman was the technopath his employer had mentioned.
    "At last I must comment you on your drones, they seem to be really well maintained."

    Swiftly the Prophet and his followers used the powers of the void to try and hide themselves in shadow, moving through the break in the lines as quickly and methodically as they could. They put whatever void-based abilities they had into hiding their presence from all those around them, in order to slip through undetected.

    Aberrant Lord protect me. The Prophet sent a silent thought-prayer into the Void.
  9. Seeing the Serpent like creature emerge from the water gave the crimson creature some pause. Such a large creature such as this shouldn't have been able to find the sustenance it needed to survive day by day in such a desolate swamp like this. Unless there was a much larger ecosystem near then he would have figured this creature shouldn't be able to survive out here. Only further proving to itself in it's mind that this was all a trick of the mind. And it would not be halted by a mere hallucination.

    The Sanguinary creatures form began to grow and expand further then previously. Jagged bone like structures lined the outer layer to it's body, forming a protective bone plating over it's gelatinous form. If this creature wished to intimidate it, the Serpent will have to do better then that. Boney claw like appendages burst out from the Crimson beast's back as it roared back to the Serpent and proceeded to pounce toward their direction, and going for the head.

    As Daniel attempted to sneak away from the creatures but as fate would have it he stepped on a twig in the underbrush. The sound seemed insignificant to most but the creatures immediately looked towards it with the nearest one leaving the group to investigate. As it approached the air around Daniel began to cool a considerable degree as a faint chanting can be heard. He wouldn't have much time think about such small details as the creature reached out and grabbed him by the back of the neck with a black hand with dagger like fingers. The cold touch of the unnatural creature made his muscles too stiff to move as it dragged him out from the forest into the clearing. The other creatures by this point had formed a circle and placed the end of their spears into the ground as some kind of energy pooled onto the ground flowing from the spears. The one holding onto him place his spear into the ground as well adding his own into the mix.

    After the liquid made a perfect circle on the ground within the barriers of the spears an armored hand reached out from the pool. It felt around for a moment as if trying to find a solid hand hold before finding the grass and pulling the rest of itself up revealing a man dressed in a full suit of black combat armor with an assault rifle slung over his shoulder. Though it was impossible to see their face do to their helmet covering their entire head they were clearly surprised to see Daniel in the hands of the creatures. He said something in a language he didn't recognize as more hands erupted from the pool as more armored individuals made their way out of it. All of them carried the same weapon as the first one and other than varieties in height there was no real difference between them. Around ten had come out from the pool at this point with and eleventh pulling them self out though this one was different from the others. They had a black cloak over their armor with a notably more decorative face plate on their helmet being inscribed in strange runes, if he looked further he would notice that the entirety of the person's armor under the cloak was also covered in these runes. Whenever he tried to foucus on one his mind seemed to drift to something else before he could make out exactly what they looked like.

    The newest arrival didn't carry an assault weapon like the other ten but a large pole arm fitted with modern technology giving the blade a red hue. They looked to the black creatures and made a gesture with the hand that wasn't holding the weapon and the creatures bowed including the one that still held him. After the bow their simply disappeared in an instant and he had control of his body again. The ten armored ones raised their weapons at him while the cloaked one moved towards him. They spoke on an unknown but not totaly alien language to him though he didn't speak it himself he could recognize the it probably came from somewhere in Asia.

    @Wata
    Serpent walked to the meeting point which was in the building itself. It was a sturdy looking building made using older techniques that contrasted with the new shiny metal of the surroundings making it stand out but not in a negative way. In fact it made the place look homely, a warm simple place in the middle of the cold metal of the endless march of technology and progress. He would find the front door unlocked and after ducking and squeezing through the doorway clearly not meant for someone his size he would see the bare interior with a man sitting at one of the few remaining tables. "You the buyer?" He asked looking at serpent.

    @Maleth
    The slender individual moved back a little when she began talking and making the fire in her hand brighter. She seemed to be just as alien to them as they were to her as the hunter backed away from her while the others went to work dragging the still quite angry beast away. They didn't want to fight the stranger and had other things to do than yelling at someone they didn't understand and quite frankly had a disturbing language. It didn't take long before he was alone and surrounded by darkness again.

    @kanila
    The pack moved through the forest at full speed despite the very high density of the underbrush. They ducked and jumped over small obstacles with extreme grace despite their size. One of the ones that was closer to the one that had picked him up moved forward a bit. "Why did you pick up the youth? He isn't one of ours." A masculine voice echoed through his mind. "What does that matter, there is word entire dens have been emptied to fight that fool's war. We save who we can." Another older sounding masculine void echoed through Mimic's mind. "Yes lord." The wolf then moved back to the rest of the pack behind him. "Young one, what den do you hail from? We are headed to a meeting of the lords we may be able to find your pack once we arrive." The older voice asked.

    @Casavay
    Colony made it's way down quickly enough moving in such a manner so no one would take notice of the massive amount of spiders moving down from the roof. After reforming in an alleyway she moved back to her home, from what she had heard in the morning the gallery event will be happening in a few hours. They had time to prepare whatever they felt necessary for their little outing.

    @Schalli
    "We'll have a few other private contracts like yourself walking around, you won't be alone." The woman said as she got up from the chair. "Come back here in five hours and knock on the door. Tell them Gypsy sent you and they'll open the doors pretty quickly." He would find himself being more or less being roughly pushed by the drone's towards the door until he was forced to stumble out as the door slammed shut behind him. The sounds of locks being turned and chains being set made the clear message that he wasn't going to be going back into there until the right time.

    @Azathoth
    Using the cover of the tall grass and the confusion of battle the cult ran towards the opening between the lines. Moving over corpses and dodging stray bullets as the battle rages around them, men yelled and beasts roared as they tore into one another with tooth and claw, bullet and bayonet, nature vs technology. After a hair raising trek through this madness the cult managed to get to the other side of the forest. As they made their way back into the bush the Prophet would notice a massive surge of Void energy coming from the battle. Within the battle a man dressed in the black robes of some kind of oriental monk carrying a simple wooden staff walked towards a group of the wolves. With a sudden surge of void energy the ends of his staff seemed to eliminate all light that touched them as he charged at the wolves. When he hit the closest one it's body shattered as if it were glass the rest quickly met the same fate as the man showed excellent skill and precision with the staff. He disappeared into the battle as the cult remembered they needed to keep moving.

    As Bloodbath charged the snake like creature it roared back again but this time something surged up from it's gullet shortly afterward. When Bloodbath was within range it let loose a torrent of bile from it's stomach that burned into the bony armored plates. Though this was not enough to stop the sanguine creature's momentum as it slammed into the creature's head. It's claws dug into the thick scales that covered the creature though they did little more than allow it to hold onto the creature as it now flailed about trying to knock the strange intruder off of it's face.

    @Valonox
    Gorgon and Wizbang after a minor confrontation with the locals found themselves completely lost in the forest. Granted it was hard to get lost when you had no idea where you were going in the first place they still managed to do it under the guide of Wizbang. The old man took them in strange winding paths sometimes even going in circles. "We're on the right path!" He would say occasionally clearly not caring that they were lost in very hostile territory not even remotely close to civilization.

    @Valonox @Vulpas
    "He was once a Drow within the forest clans that took an even larger interest in nature than his kin. Though where others saw to coexist he saw to control and enforce order upon nature itself. He wasn't very successful or a liable threat until recently. He seems to have stolen some kind of ancient tome beyond even my reckoning which gives him enough knowledge and power to take over the minds of the creatures that live here. He has even created his own perverted life deep within his territory, long dead bones formed into new shapes and given a life of their own. I do not know exactly what that book contains or what it is called but clearly stealing it was enough reason these invaders needed to set foot in my forest."

    @Wincent
    (Hallow)
    The gang members and Hallow began serious discussions and planning into their next moves and plans for the future. It was clear that these men did not anticipate being taken over by a woman with a pumpkin on her head in one foul swoop with the fear of a fiery death as their motivation for doing what she says. Most were silent simply letting the one that had been doing most of the talking so far do his self assigned job and barely making eye contact with their conqueror. However any form of resentment for the woman was overshadowed by fear of what would happen if they tried to fight her. So they all listened attentively and gave occasional information and pointed out things on maps desperately trying to keep their new boss appeased.

    (Mystic)
    Morph was feeling rather awkward being hugged by Mystic and little surprised that she was asking something of him. "Agent Phoenix hasn't made it back to the station yet but I'm sure you can talk to her when she gets back." Morph said before breaking the overly long hug and moving to his car in which Rico and Alexis were already seated. Morph rolled the window down and looked over to Mystic. "By the way I'll be at the gallery event in city hall tonight along with my wife, Thomas, and his parents. Just so you know where to find me if you have something actually important to tell me." He then rolled the window back up and drove off.
