warning: i dont know too much about the Tau Name: Shas'Saal'Bork'an Nickname: Scholar (due to coming from Bork'an and his love of knowledge, he's kind of a nerd for a Fire Warrior) Gender- male caste-fire Sept- Bork'an Caste Trait-Born and Trained to become soldiers, the Tau of the Fire Caste are naturally talented in the use of Fire Arms and learn the diverse tactics that each Tau Warrior needs to know. They also have more Intel about their enemy at hand than the other Caste Members. Sept Trait: The Sept of Bork'an is a center of learning and academia, and its system has many rich mining planets. Bork'an has a high percentage of Earth Caste, and Fire Warriors from here are not infrequently outfitted with prototype weapons and equipment Traits: Knowledge of Chaos: as most Tau never really encounter the forces of Chaos nor witness its effects, while on Bork'an training he knew a Gue'vesa (human, and did i spell the Tau word right?) who worked in one of the nearby labs who referred to himself as a "psyker" and said that his kind were subjugated or downright executed within the Imperium, this Gue'vesa would sometimes mention something he called "Chaos" and its effects on people, how it warped the body and mind, and of the foul creatures who dwell within the warp, one day when off training, he went to speak to this man, but did not find him in the usual spot, and growing concerned went to the man's quarters to check on him, and found the door was damaged, and inside found.... something.... but it was definitely NOT a Gue'vesa, or at least.... not anymore, he was forced to kill this thing he once knew as friend, and now knows how evil the forces of Chaos truly are, and how to more easily combat them Basic understanding of Low Gothic: spending time with his Gue'vesa friend before the incident, although most of the conversations were in (whatever the hell Tau language is called, is it just called Tau? Tauese? Tauien?), sometimes the Gue'vesa would teach him some human phrases Advanced Gear (is this acceptable or not? if not ill change it to something else): Was given a prototype Pulse Rifle from the Bork'an testing facility, it performed extremely well in testing and needs to be tested on the field, its range and damage are slightly higher than the basic variants of Pulse Rifle, and thus can be used a normal Pulse Rifle or a sniper rifle if need be Flaws: Too trusting of Humans: only knew a couple of Gue'Vesa, and both of them are those he considers his friends (although he had to kill the psyker one, the other one is just a normal, non-psyker human), and thus sees humans as an overall good natured species, and believes that the Imperium is oppressing and misguiding them, and that Chaos is corrupting them, and by joining the Greater Good that they will be safer from the corruptions of Chaos and free from Imperial oppression, and thus will kill any human who is shooting as he views them as part of the problem, but may be too trusting of a human if he comes under the guise of peace A Bit Too Emotionally Kind: after having to kill his friend, he is afraid of losing those he now considers his friends, and is protective of his friends, will go to lengths of risking his own life to save his friends and will be greatly saddened if one of them were to die, especially to anything Chaos related Gear: Fire Warrior Armor: paints his armor the color of the planet they are going to, because camouflage Fire Warrior Helmet 2 (whatever a Tau Frag Grenade is called) refilled at the beginning of each mission Advanced Pulse Rifle Ritual knife thingy OOC: yeah.... i could use some help
OOC: Firewarriors have ritual blades - so knife / sword is alright Name: Shas'Saal'Bork'an'Scholar (Scholar being the nickname integrated in the name) The naming is quite easy - it just looks complicated at the start ^^ Oh and your Fear of Warp Travel flaw makes no sense - Tau have no understanding of the Warp as they don't sense it ; that is also why they can't really tell the difference between Adeptus Astartes and Chaos Space Marines ; one have spikes, the others don't. So yeah the fear of warp travel makes not much sense ^^ the Tau use another kind of technology to move - that is one of their problems. Due to not using Warp travel they are so much slower.
ohh, ok, and question: will we ever actually fight Chaos? if not im gonna change that trait to something more usefull (when i get back on tomorrow, goodnight gents)
Anywho - I hope to get Akragth in his new super-duper project to get the Tau in there and then I lead them personally! XD
