You can always role a silent, stoic Shas'saal, who only acts after carefull examination of what the other RP'ers do.
    There,very little knowledge needed.

OOC: I just hang the first mission out and see if that changes peoples mind.... Also I bend Lore / events a bit

Mission #1 - Rise of Sept World Vi'Drea

During the Second Sphere Expansion of the Tau, near the end of this expansion phase, there was the destiny of the first Strikeforce to be formed. It was a basic mission to see if such Strikeforce would be of use as required. The Strikeforce would gain one Escort-Class Cruiser to bring them in orbit, along with a Manta that would bring them on planet surface and aid in raids if required.

The Strikeforce was always doubted and therefor as if to doom the idea, only Caste members of Saal ranks have been chosen. Nobody wanted them to succeed except for a handful Etherreals who stated that for the Greater Good this must be done and that it is not the skill or experience of the individuals, but their structure what would bring in the great success.

The Plan was a three-stage mission. First Stage: Elimination of local life form leader. The Beasts living on the world that is to be Vi'Drea soon, at least in the eyes of the Tau, were tribal, able to communicate but in a manner the Tau may not able to recreate - rendering Diplomacy through words useless.

They were as primitive as Feral Orks or secluded Kroot. Therefor the First Stage would be to slay one of their leaders to assume control of a tribe.

Once that would be done - the Second Stage would initiate. Attempt to communicate with other Tribes and create some kind of Warband or destroy their leaders as well, creating a greater tribe. Either way - The first base would be constructed with Tau technology, directly launched from Orbit, assembled by Earth Caste Drones.

The Last Stage would be complete control about all of them and defeating all who do not share the vision of the Greater Good and bringing the primitive life forms to Tau cities where they would learn to communicate with the Tau and learn all about the Greater Good and what can be achieved if all work together.

The Plan was simple, difficult perhaps, but easy to understand and quite effective once the first stage would had been accomplished successfully.

Even better: The Tribes seemed to work a bit like the Tau before the Etherreals, and the Tau once more would teach a world that working together - under the Tau leadership - is more efficient than how they live.

Seeing as how I let my party slaughter a bunch of tau I guess it would be just for me to get slaughtered by orks:D

    Name: Kor'Saal'Tash'var

    Equipment:
    Air caste jumpsuit
Compact pulse pistol (not much else you can really take)
    License to fly a manta

    Traits (Ability)

    Quick reflexes:
During fighter pilot training he realised his true talent in reacting quickly to the threats that the flight simulator threw at him. But even on the ground this talent is useful for avoiding things.

    Hide and seek master:
He does have an ability to find places to hide, he learned it young and he has practiced it ever since.

    Flaws:

    Bad runner:
Being from the air caste, he doesn't take running in gravity very well. He is more used to flying than running, he can run a bit better in low gravity environments but even then it's painful for his ewak bones and slower than normal.

    Traits (Personal)

    Good at keeping the peace:
He is good at stopping parties from arguing to the point of conflict, deflecting the vitriol with jokes.

    Flaws: (Personal)

    Weak Willed:
Easily persuaded by even the weakest of arguments, this tau is not very confident in himself, more content to let others decide the action instead of him.

    Sept Trait:
Tash'var has been attacked by ork raiders for years, the last one being only a weak ago. They are practical, courageous and willing to sacrifice for the greater good. (No correlation to a certain planet in my RP, none at all)

Hope it's right, I don't have to much knowledge myself about them:p

OOC: Nobody said something about Orks.... Just tribal life form... xD

#1 you straight ignored my new char system with Personality and Skill / Ability Traits :p

#2 Sept Trait looks fine to me - didn't even know the Sept before xD

#3 Hide and Seek Master - that is fun and awesome at same time lol

OOC: Yeah sorry I didn't quite understand it, you mean that being able to fly a manta or anything would be a trait in and of itself?

OOC: I mean that Personality traits and flaws are separate from skills and abilities traits/flaws

OOC: I believe that means you need to have a 'Physical' skill based flaw since both your current Traits are Skills
Something like 'Slow Runner' or 'Low Strength' (Granted that one is a part of the Air Caste deal and wouldn't make sense to add again) :D Is that correct Urian?

Quick Reflexes & Hide and Seek are both ability / skill traits ; Weak Willed though is a personality flaw

this means he can have 2 personality traits (like good talker / ambassador and something like honorable or whatever) since he has 1 personality flaw

but at least 1 skill flaw is required ; like 'bad melee fighter' or 'Weak' / can't lift much
