Just thought it was a valid point. If they've got half of what they need surely they need the other half. (This next bit isn't aimed at you @Redthirst ) Hands up who here has developed or produced an MMO? Yeah, thought so. Now I want to point out that I'm not super keen on the idea of EA but what do I know? I haven't developed an MMO. Check the résumé of the people that making this game, they have. Their call, nothing we can do about it. They're at the helm, they hit that turbo button a while back and now it's warp speed into EA. Stick your head between your legs and brace for impact. As a community all we can do is what we have been doing, be honest and passionate about this game, spread the good word, welcome the newcomers, be truthful about the flaws, try to give good advice regarding rigs and fps and how to play the game and as far as possible trust the developers. This game maybe our baby but it's their career. Let's hope they know what their doing!
There's no point in arguing anymore, we will just have to wait and see. If after first few weeks the game will be sitting with Mixed reviews and forum filled with angry threads, we can go "I told you it would happen". Lets hope it won't end up like that.
I have to say as well, if you do not fix the FPS issue before release you might as well consider this a dead game on steam. I have not been able to play it without 5 FPS range with a lucky 12 FPS. If it is released now as is, you will only be seeing this game die. Once more only death of the game awaits if you release as it is right now. Fix the FPS problems even before thinking of sending this beautiful future game out into the wild.
