"I assume it would be used if I turned against you? I'd rather not be blown up just for the sake of an explosion. If so, we have a deal." Ioren agreed, taking the hand and shaking it firmly.

Eventually the meeting point would worked out, and Ioren requested a small shuttle to leave the StarRunner.

    -Loren Kelley-

"I assume it would be used if I turned against you? I'd rather not be blown up just for the sake of an explosion. If so, we have a deal."

Kelley shook the man's hand, then said to him.

"Think of it more as an insurance policy for the UTC military. In any rate I will have someone to show you your quarters, if you need anything, feel free to contact Commander Yilli. If you will excuse me." Kelley walked out of the room, then turned to the adjacent security console. He tapped on the screen, deleting all footage of the meeting, before typing out a report of what transpired there and locked it with the highest encryption and sent it to Commander Yilli before heading back to holding bay 03.

Later, as Kelley was working out, something strange happened. He used the weights from before the previous mission, but they felt light. Too light. He kept increasing them until he felt the right resistance again, and realized that he was suddenly benching more than twice his own body weight, yet his own figure haven't changed nor has he ever benched more than 50% over his body weight (He was not light by any means, just average). He pondered about this while when he got a message saying Ioren requested a shuttle to the leave the super carrier. Kelley redirected the request up to Commander Yilli and to the proper transport officers for processing before moving on to the dumbbells.

  3. "Errrrr.....so that happened." Kyras wasn't quite sure of the appropriate response to that, so he just kinda went back to his room and started repairing his Canoptek constructs. As he did, he started plotting some improvements to himself. It wouldn't do to simply be left behind by his constructs after all.

-Freya Unison & Agalia, Nate Bishop & Auriel-

"DAMN YOU, KELLEY! DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO FOLLOW ORDERS!? YOU WERE TO NOT DESTROY THE OBJECTIVES! but... I guess it doesn't matter. Helmsman Fero! Gunner Williams! Activate the Galactic Cannon!"

The two riders had just gotten back into their respective FRAMEs, when the transmission came in. Agalia immediately exclaimed out loud in a comms to command.

"WHAT? That would kill all us still out here! Command, delay the strike!" Archangel and the Lævateinn sped back towards the Starrunner, fighting the rebels on the way. Apparently someone on the bridge thought of the same thing.

"Sir? That will destroy the planet... not to mention all of our forces outside of the ship." Archangel just shot another rifleman with its side arm while the Lævateinn cut apart another with Mortal Summer.

"DO IT!" The two FRAMEs continued boosting back to the Super Carrier. Freya opened a comms channel herself back to command.

"Command this is Rider Unison, please abort the strike. Archangel and I are almost back on the Starrunner, please abort-"

"No. Sir, I refuse to follow that order. You may have me thrown in the brig...Captain?" Shots were fired, and Freya punched a screen so hard she broke it.

"Fuck! Captain, what are you doing? Medical to the bridge, STAT!" Freya lost her composure.

"Onyx you bastard! I am going to kill when I get back if it's the last thing I do!" Onyx ignored her.

"Belay that, Medical. He is a traitor, subject to summery execution. Let him die. All forces! This is captain Onyx! I am taking absolute command! IF MY ORDERS ARE NOT FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER, I-" More scuffling, but Freya didn't even hear them at that point. The two FRAMEs were near the hanger at this point.

"Captain? I am hereby relieving you of command. you are unfit for duty. Security, please escort Tiber to the brig. Medical, I need a team NOW! Kelley, please bring your prisoner to medical. we will check him out and interrogate him... with your presence." They entered the hanger.

"All other forces, continue with objectives." The FRAMEs were parked and the riders dismounted. Freya immediately sped off to the brigs. Bishop had listened to the whole thing silently, a part of him wanted to get involve, but another part of him just wants to go and watch movies. The second part won, and he headed back to his quarters. Maybe Skye should join him?

  5. EPISODE IX: PUSH ON DESPITE THE PAIN!

    < @WanderingJester >

Kelley would find there were no dumbbells that were not akin to a feather-weight, which was well enough, because Morain just then walked into the Gym, spotting Kelley, she walked over to him, stiking up a conversation.

"So, I hear you brought back a prisoner, and released him. What's up with that?" She asked. It sounded like a joke, but it could be seen that she was serious.

    < @Xanxas >

Kyras would have just gotten to his room when Yalei caught up with him. She grabbed his shoulder, and when he turned around, she hugged him quite tightly, sobbing her eyes out.

"Ky...Ky..." She was crying so hard she couldn't even speak.

    < @Andraina >

Commander Yilli was waiting outside the brig, seemingly expecting to see Freya.

"I cannot let you see him. Not now. Go to medical. Your Fiancée needs you." She turned away. "I... am sorry for what happened."

    < @Shadhunter >

If he was interested, Bishop would see Kylei Skye sitting curled in a corner, quite obviously crying.

(OOC: OK guys, so here's the downtime deal. Everyone (Except @WanderingJester ) is allowed to get 1 piece of signature gear, as well as a signature weapon FOR THEIR CHARACTER. @Andraina we can work on some special powers for the blade Killian gave you if you'd like. In addition, Everyone (again, excluding Kelley) is allowed a BIG upgrade to their FRAME. PM me when you have ideas.)

"So, I hear you brought back a prisoner, and released him. What's up with that?"

Kelley, frustrated, tossed the largest dumbbell aside like it was nothing. It slammed to ground with a crash. It was too light. He hopped over and opened one of the containers in the holding bay. Grabbing a mecha rifle, he began curling the weapon with both arms. That felt right again. Just then Morain walked in and spoke up, giving him a look he wasn't sure whether it was because of what he was doing or what he did. Kelley looked at her and said.

"He was not released, just transferred to limited custody arrest. We have yet to confirm the information he gave us so he will not be released until then." He grunted as he curled the rifle up again for another set

Morain raised an eyebrow as Kelley curled a Mecha rifle, but stayed silent. About that, anyway.

"And what information did he promise us? I wouldn't think you would take a gamble like this."

"And what information did he promise us? I wouldn't think you would take a gamble like this."

Kelley finished his set, then placed the rifle back into the container. He looked at her as he hopped back down and went to another container, this one a bit smaller. He attached a cable to his waist then hopped up and grabbed the catwalk with his hands. He began doing pull ups, and the container lifted off the floor as he did them from 1 foot off the ground to a few feet.

"He gave us a planet. Jieorrick to be specific. Local populous conditions, defense structures, local garrison strength size and formation. I am not taking a gamble Morain, in this I risk nothing but a little bit of time. If his information proves false, I will simply drag a blade across his throat and toss his body out of the nearest airlock."

"But surely he had conditions? I myself wouldn't just give that information away. That's high treason, punishable by immediate death. Therefore, there is no reason for him to do this for us unless we had something he wanted. It would have been safer to just stay here as a prisoner." She said. Morain was obviously trying to understand the logic behind the whole situation.

Kelley continued his pull ups, increasing his usual sets and reps by tenfold as he realized neither his body as a whole nor the muscles he was exercising was getting tired. So he continued his exercise as he listened to Morain, then spoke up.

"During the last mission I discovered an interior message of the rebel military ordering his death, so they consider him a traitor already. He must have realized that he would not last very long with both the UTC and the Rebels hunting him down, so decided to play his trump card. I made it clear that unless we had a use for him there would be no point in keeping him on board this ship as a prisoner. He would be transferred to a floating prison or a penal colony with the first shuttle out. He probably decided that this was not something that suited him. This way he would at least get the UTC to stop chasing him..." Kelley waited to make sure Morain was listening, he looked at her from the corner of his eyes to gauge her reaction, "and his kid sister."
