"Nice to meet you, Nate. Lieutenant Bill Moren, Logistics Officer." He shook Nate's hand, and handed him the same data-slate all the other Riders got "I would love to talk, but we are quite swamped trying to get everything ready." He explained his haste, waving about to the mess about them. "Now, your FRAME is situated in the hangar, if you were wondering. Your data-slate should answer any questions you have." He said before walking off.

Aglaia had a smile as she perched on Freya's shoulder while the two of them made their way to the training grounds, "You're in a good mood," she remarked casting an eye to her shoulder." The Soul nodded with a giant grin, "Yes! Miss Oracle is a really nice and pretty Lady!" Freya's lips formed an O shape, "Ohhhh Well I'm glad you found a nice role model. Make sure you try to avoid troubling her." Aglaia nodded, "Mmhmm!" The two then stepped into the training area. It was already quite active it seemed.

On the video screen was being shown a raging battle. It seemed to have drawn quite a crowd, and Freya could hear murmurs from the crowd of idling crew: "What's going on?" "I don't know, some kind of group practice?" "Whatever it is, it looks awesome, don't it?"
A tall, raven haired woman came over to stand next to Freya. Her head was topped with wolf ears, and a wolf's tail sprouted out behind her. She wore a military uniform with the crest of a Lieutenant on her right breast. She smirked and shook her head. "This is Kieth...no, Sergeant Gorgon testing our new riders. Of which you are one, I've been told." She did not turn away from the screen. "Freya Unison, he is going to be expecting you."

Freya glanced over her eyes becoming a bit serious, she was being addressed by a Lieutenant, "Is that so? Unconventional, but I suppose this deployment is all about expanding many aspects. Thank you for the information Ma'am. Agalia." The girl had a look of resolution on her face, clearly more expressive then her rider, "I'm ready Sister!" A small grin came from her SOULs enthusiasm, "Mmm" She made her way over to the training apparatus and began the initiation process.

Nate nodded in reply before heading off to the hangar to check on Archangel. Perhaps he'd run a few checks, or rather... Auriel would as that was typically the thing she did and would inform him of the results. Then he started to wonder. The Lieutenant mentioned that they were "swamped". Swamped with what? Perhaps time would tell.

  6. EPISODE II: THE DARK IN ONE'S SOUL

*Simulation FRAME Lævateinn loading... Complete... Joining Simulation... Complete*

Freya was plopped down away from the majority of the fighting, in time to hear on comms: "I'm going to hack its IFF, launch a whole salvo at the Sergeant! I need some time!" Called another woman, identified by a pop-up as Yalei, her FRAME beginning to glow with an Azure aura as she came into contact with the captured FRAME.

As for Kelley, the remaining Bladesmen all charged him, one from above, below, and one on each side. The riflemen all fired at once at Kyras while spreading out to give more sparse target choices. All of their radars indicated a new group of hostiles, although the exact position could not be determined.

Before Freya could move on her allies (or incoming enemies), a FRAME with A Hard-Light sword and shield combo appeared in front of her, with a mount on the right shoulder that looked like a laser cannon. "Freya Unison. Only surviving member of the Unison family. I look forward to the show you will give me." The voice of Sergeant Gorgon crackled to life over comms as the knight lunged forward with a downward slash.

[ 6 Bladesmen, 16 riflemen, Knight (mini-boss) , Titan Killer (Boss), Unknown enemies]
[ @Andraina - Can make a strike at the Knight or try to get to your allies.]
[ @WanderingJester - Destroy all Bladesmen or destroy 4, protecting Yalei and take a light wound]
[ @Xanxas (AFK at the moment) - Take a light wound from rifle barrage, destroy up to 6 Riflemen or 4 and shoot at Titan Killer]

Once in the hanger, he would find Archangel in a corner, and as he approached it, He would be approached by Bannoi. "Ahh, Nate Bishop, I'm gonna guess? Bannoi Hushion, Chief Mechanic. If'n you have any problems with your FRAME, or anything you want done, just let me know." He didn't stay for long, dashing over to where a Mechanic had dropped a crate of electronics, causing a loud crash and spilling them all over the floor. "OY! What d'ya think yer doin'? That's five less beers for you tonight!"

Bishop nodded. "That I am." He then noticed the dropped crate and rushed over to help clean up the mess, if there was anything he could do. "Everything alright?"

No time to calibrate the motion, Freya had no choice but to try to block it. Both of her hands drew Mortal Summer and the blade ignited to meet the incoming weapon. She could feel the pressure and hear the bearings, this was a strong one. She pushed as hard as she could to disengage and fired her back thrusters firing the wrist mounted light cannon. in order to get some distance. Agalia was busy configuring the system so Freya could fight properly. She'd need a bit more time. "Almost there." She muttered through the cockpit. "We're at a bit of a disadvantage here. We'll fight defensively and hope for some back up." Her inexperience was already showing, as she tried to make the best tactical decision her skills would allow. She'd hold off this one while the others worked on the fodder. She wouldn't make trouble for them with a sudden attack from a stronger enemy. It was best to prevent the enemy from rallying in her opinion. She was already convinced she couldn't solo this one at this moment, so she decided to trust her comrades. They were in her squad after all, "Hey!" She called into the allied Comms, When you all have a chance, I'm probably going to need a little help. No hurry though."

"You have 60 seconds." Kelley hit a timer on his heads up display. "Starting... now."

Kelley hit the comms off and went at the first bladesman, cutting an arm off then its head. He went around and took out another, slicing it in three pieces diagonally. Void Riptide charged into the next bladesman and tackled it to the ground, slicing its head off and throwing the body into the remaining enemy frames nearby, buying time with the improvised projectile.

Just then Veronica peeped up. "Enemy approached the missile FRAME sir." Spinning around, Kelley saw one of the bladesmen going around him and headed straight for the hacking FRAME. As it lunged Kelley forced the Riptide forward, getting to the attack just in time for the lance to bury itself into the other shoulder plate of his FRAME. He deactivated his laser sword, and wrapped Void Riptide's left arm around the bladesman, pulling it in and activating the chain cutter. Void Riptide dragged the struggling bladesman slowly but steadily towards itself and doom, finally resulting in a shearing sound as well as pieces of flying metal as the bladesman connected with the pitch black and blood red FRAME.

Kelley, ignoring the pain in his other shoulder looked at the timer. "Time is up, you done?"
