< @WanderingJester @Xanxas > Kyras' Intervention seemed to have a desired effect, with half the remaining bladesmen charging him while the rest continued to harass Kelley. What was not foreseen was the reaction of Sergeant Gorgon, who immediately fired one of his cannons at Kyras "Kyras Tyran... your record is interesting to say the least. Problematic personality, but impressive record of victories... greetings, I am Sergeant Keith Gorgon, your commanding officer. Rank is disregarded for this exercise, however. Show me what you are capable of." He said, firing a high-speed slug too fast to dodge. "LOOK OUT!" A voice calls out. Just before the shell has a chance to impact, Yalei's Iron Wall jumps in front of Praetorian, both shields active, and connected on flat side, generating a wall of hard-light larger than both shields combined. (Looks like this, basically) This blocks the shell, and she calls out to her allies: "Recommend rendezvous, we are too spread out!" She yells, deactivating her shields and drawing both pistols, dismantling two riflemen with a barrage of shots. "Kelley, can you capture me a missile FRAME? I have a plan!" "Yalei Miribo. Technomancer. Highest strategic planning scores in her class. The captain really finds some treasures." Gorgon mumbles over comms. [16 Riflemen, 16 Bladesmen, 2 Missile FRAMEs, Titan Killer. Gorgon is a boss] [ @WanderingJester You can take out up to 8 enemies, 5 and capture a missile FRAME, or 2 and strike at Gorgon] [ @Xanxas You can take out up to 6 enemies, or 4 and strike at Gorgon.]
Understanding his probability of success would increase dramatically with the cooperation of allies, Kelley hit the comms, "Roger." His smile was gone the moment his new found "ally" came out and started talking. Mentally face palming himself, Void Riptide's rider moved straight at one of the remaining missile FRAME. Five bladesmen got in the way. Two lost their limbs then their heads in rapid succession, while the third overstepped its strike and was half pushed, half thrown into a fourth one's blade, before the Riptide's right sword decapitated both while they were pinned together. The last bladesman lunged at Void Riptide, only to have its weapon grabbed and its body pulled towards the Riptide, ending when a laser sword emerged from the back of its torso. Now with nothing standing between Void Riptide and the missile FRAME, the range unit shot a missile at Kelley. With Veronica's guidance, the stryker FRAME easily dodged the missile as it surged towards the enemy. It ducked beneath one of the missile frame's swinging guns, and grabbed it from the back. Punching a hand into its neck, Riptide pulled out several wires, connecting the missile launchers from the main firing system. He hit the comms once more, "your plan?"
Kyras hummed to himself as he to a short hop further behind the Iron Wall. In all honesty, the riffle enemies severly lacked Dakka, and hadn't got a scratch on him. It seemed like the only real threats were the missile FRAMEs and the blades men due to hi god-awful melee capabilities. "Hey Kyras, what's he up to?" Kyras blinked and turned to see what his SOUL was going on about. It seemed that his ally was charging one of the remaining missile FRAMEs, and mulching though blades men as he went. "Hmm" he mused, "well if that's the plan" he quickly pivoted towards the increasingly alarmed other missile FRAME and blade group "then we wont be needing the others, will we?" The missile FRAMEs were powerful, sure, but they lacked mobility. This fact was underscored by the ease in which the PRAETORIAN was able to land the crippling blast on it, using its rod of the covenant for the first time. He quickly picked off the five guards that had been squatting nearby, and turned in time to hear his ally's query. He remained silent, as he too wished to know the plan.
Freya smiled, "My name is Freya Unison. Thank you for taking care of my FRAME Chief." She showed the Monkey anthropomorphic her identification wanting to feel at the very least, confident that no one would touch her FRAME unless that proper ID was shown. After she was squared away, she entered into the cockpit. "Begin Calibration procedures." She uttered out as the cockpit's light turned on. The system had not started fully. It would enter into a test state. "Yes Sister!" The SOUL responded energetically and went to work on different functions each having a very good idea of the pilot's preference and losing themselves in their work for a bit. Agalia used a little of her system process to interface with the ship and properly introduce herself to the ship's SOUL so she could get the required access she might need to assist her pilot.
< @Andraina > {Well, aren't you an interesting little thing?} A beautiful harmonic voice resonated in Agalia. {Welcome. I am Oracle, the SOUL of the StarRunner.} She sounded faintly amused {I feel much conflict in you.} As Oracle spoke to Agalia, all system checks came up green, and the calibrations progressed smoothly. Everything seemed fine so far.
The girl blinked tilting her head, before bowing politely, "Thank you Miss Oracle, I'm Agalia, SOUL unit for Corporal Freya Unison. It's nice to meet you." She was certainly a Grand SOUL given a lot of authority, and was pretty too. Agalia got the feeling she was slightly off. Then again she pretended to be her pilot's little sister. So, well most SOULs had something a little off about them didn't they? "Hah, Yes Ma'am. My pilot is a cute and innocent girl, and she's a little messed up." She didn't seem to break character too much, and she did love Freya, but one could admit the pilot was a little off kilter.
@Andraina Oracle chuckled lightly. {Of course. You know, the other SOULs did not take time to introduce themselves. I quite like you. Oh, by the way, your tests are done} At that moment, a cheerful tone sounded, indicating that everything was working fine.
She blinked, "Well I imagine it's common sense as I have to deliver this to you." She produced a 'letter' in reality it was ust the data packet containing her registration and the request for access to the systems she's allowed to access. "I'd love to hear some stories whenever you have free time too." At Oracle's last statement she blinked and suddenly got a panicked look! "Ack! Thank you!" She bowed again n a much more hasty matter before hurrying to return to her partner's side. "All systems are go Sister." Freya nodded, "O.K. shall we conduct some training?" Agalia nodded, "Sure, it's good to make sure you get proper exercise." Freya tilted her head, "You usually say I do it too much," The SOUL giggled, "But we've been cooped up in that transport. you need to move your body to properly relax!"
@Andraina {And I would love to tell you some, Thank you} A lingering whisper of Oracle's presence told her. {And I will send you a map to the training rooms.} With that, Freya's data-slat chirped, and the training room was highlighted on the map. On their way out, Agalia could briefly see a gorgeous woman with glittering golden eyes and long, flowing silver hair in a beautiful robe waving good-bye {Have Fun, and be careful, Agalia.}
Bishop was the last to step off the transport and was quick to spot the man waving him over. He approached without delay. "Nate Bishop, reporting sir." Bishop stated calmly. Auriel had decided not to manifest herself at the moment, preferring to remain silent until she may be needed.
