-Vector- "you really have no idea whats going on do you? im betting this 'Republic' is some long lost civilization, or maybe you broke away from the Imperium? eh? If that frail bastard in there says your alright we will think about negotiating with you, other wise we kill you for a heretic, and have the tech priests study your gear and see if its from an STC or not" the man in the trenchcoat said as he opened the door and turned to Vector "well, go on in then!"
Vector snarled behind the face mask of his helmet before he shakily lowered his weapons and stared at the door, he could feel something emanating from that room and a sudden moment of clarity allowed him to realise that he needed to get to the bottom of this. With that Vector gave one last look to the trenchcoat wearing man, and was thankful his helmet hid his face, before walking in.
OOC: will wait until tomorrow for the other transport people, if they dont respond by then on where they are going, we'll just keep going with the Vector and the Guard base and such
OOC: that's fine by me since I tend to check the thread several times a day (but you guys tend to be in early in the morning for me)
The engines of the LAAT roared while it took off. Its laser turrets scorched a swath through the masses of guardsmen. Blaster bolts from the clone commandos foiled the all attempts to set heavy weapons up. William used the Force to gain track of the movements underneath the ship. A sergeant was about to throw some kind of grenade at the ship, but a push through the Force let him stumble and fall before he could unlock the grenade. As the LAAT accelerated and moved out of range William ordered the pilot to fly west and turn north in two hours. They would land somewhere in the jungle to try to stay hidden this time. "As we have time now, I would like to talk with you about our further course of action. We still do not know why the people on this planet are fighting and what their goverments look like. We know that one of the groups consist of giants with a liking for macabre armour decorations. Some of the also seem to be gifted with some sort of telepathy. We do not know about the other group. Their military attacked us on the ground without having identified us, while they were much more reserved, when we were in space. They also seem to be in some kind of religous conflict, because they spoke something about heretics. Due to our lack in ships with hyperspace travel potential, we will need to contact one of these groups. Leaving the planet and trying our luck there is no option, because there are probably hostile ships in the orbit. Other clones might also have survived and we can not leave them alone here. I think we should meet those armoured warrios. They seem to be scary, but at least has neither of us shot at each other. Any opinions?" He looked around.
"As much as I dislike the proposition, we might have to go back to those giants. But before we do that can we try and contact the other side, if they are warring and they saw us converse, it would be natural for them to assume we were allies." "Vulpas, could you boost signal and try and contact Vector? He's probably dead, but if he isn't we could certainly use another commando."
